This site was ok to pick up the cargo trailer. The employee was friendly and addressed everyone inside waiting for her. I was having a bad day with Uhaul as a company and she made me feel better. My complaint is with Uhaul as a whole. I had reserved a 6x12 cardo trailer in Fayetteville. For a reduced price, I had to pick at a predesignated place. Friday, 8/2 at 0945, I received a text to pick up at 5400Bragg Blvd. Then at 1838, I received a text to pick up at 1020 Cedar Creek Rd. I called to confirm, but they were already closed. I arrived at that location on Sat and was told they didn't have that trailer. The gentleman called a few locations to find out if anyone had the 6x12cargo trailer. He actually got a hold of someone at Stedman location, but that person was leaving in 10 min for the airport and would not wait for me. Few minutes later, Uhaul actually sent me a text to go to Stedman to pick up trailer. But that was already not possible. I was forced to downsize to a 5x8 cargo trailer, and pick it up at the Cliffdale Mini storage. First of all, I drove from Greenville SC to pick up furniture. Secondly, if there was no 6x12 cargo trailers available- I should have not been able to reserve on and given false hopes of having what I needed. And lastly, this micro-management from wherever Uhaul manages rentals and ASSUMES local places have something in stock is worthless!! I got more help from the gentleman at 1020 Cedar Creek Rd. The sad part is, the furniture and household things I was picking up for my move is only a couple miles from Cliffdale Mini Storage. I would have picked that location, if it had not been for the discounted rate advertised. This whole mishap took a valuable 2+ hours, that I really couldn't spare, since I was loading up and driving back to SC.

I had to cancel my plans because the wrong key was dispensed for the vehicle i was renting. I had to call multiple times while I was waiting in the parking lot and they could not switch my reservation to the vehicle there actually was a key for. Then I was assured it was canceled but the next day the storage company called because they had no idea what happened and it looked as if I dispatched the vehicle.

Location was closed, so there was a note to call customer service. Female agent was rude and argumentative w/me and my dropping rental off at this location. I finally had to ask that someone else engage me, before she said never mind she would process my return. I have been a customer for years and this was my only BAD experience with the service.

I needed a receipt for several months, which no one was able to get. The place I returned the truck to was incompetent and lied to me several times. I called uhaul to try to resolve it, they escalated it to a regional manager. The regional manager called me and was very rude. He said he was going on vacation the next day and he didn't have enough time to help me, and told me if I couldn't find someone else I could call back in a couple weeks. I called dealer services and talked to several different people from corporate on about a dozen different calls. No one was able to help get me a receipt. I finally found someone that was willing to help. She was actually nice over the phone and kept me on the line while she tried to get an answer on some things. She was able to send me a screenshot of the charges I needed but not an actual receipt. I just today got a receipt emailed to me, but it wouldn't have helped me anyway. The one they sent show $0 for everything. It doesn't show how much a paid at all. It's pretty ridiculous. The whole reason for needing a receipt was so my company would reimburse me for the cost. Next time I need a rental truck I will gladly pay more for a penske truck. This entire move was a nightmare almost entirely because of uhaul. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone.
