Great service from Nolan! Easy and fast pick-up and return. The only thing I have a comment on is during this pandemic it would have been nice to know the truck and been wiped down sprayed with cleaner/disinfectant. I do not know that is or was not.
At first, we tried to do the mobile check in to practice social distancing and decrease in-person interactions, but it was taking a very long time. We ended up going in and were on our way within minutes.
Location was incredibly accommodating.
The interior of cab was all muddy. BUT my biggest concern was the 24/7 pick up experience. On a sunny day on the east side if a building, even on the brightest setting, I could not see clearly the instructions or the photos I took. I finally figured out to move to a shady spot. Then the online interface with Uhaul was very slow...5 or more minutes before a response. It took more than 20 minutes total to get the code.
After using the mobile check in I found it pretty straight forward. It was a little frustrating going through the process but I understand the reasoning. Next it will be a breeze.
Mr. Rob, the Uhaul rep is the BEST!. He is a true multitasker. He really pays attention to what the customer wants and not try to oversell you on extra items. He is very patient, honest, and attentive to your needs. He is definitely a bright spot in your organization. N Sharif

I selected a furniture dolly on my online order but it was not available when I picked up the truck.
I ordered a furniture dolly and paid for one but never received it. I mentioned this when I turned the truck in and was told â€œWe donâ€™t have those here. Someone was supposed to call you.â€
The app did work for the after hours rental, so it delayed my time by 2 hours. However, Rob at the Prime Storage location was amazing in giving us additional time, and he found my car keys hours later!! Great employee and facility!
The new manager, Rob was awesome. He went out of his way to be helpful and very accommodating when he worked with me when I was relocating my stuff. I rented a U-Haul van and was very satisfied with it. Rob was a great choice in the overall running of the facility. I had my storage unit there for 3 years and prior to the change in ownership I would not have recommended The Fortress. The place looked very run down and the paint was very faded on the exterior doors. There had been weeds growing around the buildings. However, now the exterior has been painted and the office looks fresh and clean with the new Prime Storage logo. As a Realtor who lives in Fishers, I would be glad to refer people there now. Again, Rob was great! I do have one suggestion. On the day the payment is due, your automated system begins to send multiple text messages, leave voice mails and send emails. I highly recommend that you change this system. It is very annoying and rude.

I did not check the mileage before leaving only to find out that I should have because we only drove the truck a max of 40 miles from Fishers, IN to Westfield, IN round trip but was charged for 89 miles. Will never rent or recommend this location ever again.
Was frustrated that I asked for truck 24 hrs and was made to bring it back before that time was up. Rep asked if I wanted to keep the truck longer after I arrived back to the office as instructed but at that point it was too late. Process was not explained to me when I placed my reservation and had to talk with 2 different people over the phone in order to get my key. When I arrived back, no one there despite sign saying someone would be there. Not an easy process and didnâ€™t make it easy for customer. Would have expected some kind of compensation/discount for the trouble but not even offered!
I am very frustrated by the poor and rude customer service of U Haul when i called for billing discrepancy. during the vehicle pick up i was not well communicated by the desk person about when the store is closed and no vehicle inspection was done with me. i returned the vehicle after 6pm and dropped the key in drop box, and i have being charged with late fee of $20 which is very absurd, secondly on the bill it shows i have returned the vehicle on 08/22 at 9:07 am. please make correction to the billing and let me know. The Uhaul website was not working properly when we went in to get the vehicle. It took almost 30 minutes to get checked in, and the storage facility employee had to call a U-haul employee on the phone a few times during the process of trying to get us checked in. However this was not the storage facility employee's fault, she was very helpful and tried really hard to get us on our way as quickly as possible.
Pickup location was great. Service from U-Haul was an absolute nightmare. App didnâ€™t work properly, half hour wait on the phone only to be told they didnâ€™t know why it wasnâ€™t working either. Overall, a mess best described by the exchange I had on the phone with the tech support guy: Support Staff: Weâ€™ve had a lot of calls already this morning about the app not working and people not being able to pick up their trucks. Me: Sounds like a big problem that someone is going to need to fix pretty quickly. Support Staff: To be honest, it sounds like a typical day at uhaul.

only one guy working on saturday morning. some customers where angry because the trucks they reserved online were not at the location. witnessed guy working there act nasty to another customer for no reason. customer offered to tell him his reservation number, the guy told him should go rent somewhere else. terrible! we waited an hour to pick up our truck.
