One of the safety chains had been dragged causing the links to be very thin. Though it is unlikely that one would ever actually need them, the reason they are there is for that one occasion when other safety features fail. The chain also lacked a hook at the end which made it necessary to "improvise" in order to use the chain at all.

No one was at the office. No one answered the phone. I better not be charged a late fee because the U-Haul employees where not doing their job!

The check in people were very friendly. They weren’t sure how to handle a walk in drop off, but they figured it out. They are a new rental facility, and appear eager to get it right.

Unit DC3239H was found to be in last than good condition. The entire interior was a Filthy Mess! There was clearly Dogs inside for a long period of time. All the dash, seats and windows were found filthy. It Smelled awful!! The passenger side floor board was dug up and destroyed. The loading/storage area was Also a mess with Dirt and Sand that had to be Swept and Hosed out with Water. Bad!!

When your picking up the smallest trailer with a newer pickup truck you shouldn't have to answer 50 questions while the attendant tries to type on information on his phone. My truck is more than capable of towing this trailer. It shouldn't take half an hour or more to pickup a trailer you have reserved. I also tried to get a larger trailer when we realized this one may be too small. I called another store and they said they would call me within an hour to where I could pickup the other trailer so we stopped loading and waited. When they finally called me they let me know it would be available the following day after noon. I was going to be gone by then. If there is an alternative to Uhaul.....use it!

This isn't a comment about the pickup or drop off location. It's my opinion of U-Haul's method of charging. I'm annoyed that I was charged an additional $2.32 for additional 5.8 miles beyond the projected 97 miles. It's only $2 but it is an annoyance. Why no flexibility in the miles? I didn't deviate beyond the normal path except I took the highway instead of surface streets (6 miles further, much faster) and I stopped at a rest area along the highway. I probably wasted a mile looking for a gas station. I also missed the turn into the drop off location because of the road construction in front of the store. It probably cost me another 2 miles because there was no place to make a u-turn. I don't feel that I used the truck beyond what I disclosed to U-Haul, yet I get dinged an extra fee. The experience would have been great except this one annoyance.

The agent at the location where I returned the truck was super unfriendly and not customer service focused at all. A guy named Jesse was great when I picked up the thrill but another guy (don’t know the name) was not good.

A rude customer came in and the owner left finishing my paperwork to attend to the other individual. The owner was put in a bind but a simple one moment or I'm sorry I'm busy with this customer or Can you wait while I attend to this person would have been nice.

Hire kids that actually want to work and not sit and sing and tap a pencil to the music while they are supposed to be helping customers. At one point in line the one kid got up and went out to the shop area and was handing tools to the man working on the vehicle. I opened the door and had to ask if he was coming back inside to help. Very poor customer service at original location!!!

i was charged for an appliance dolly rental but never recieved the appliance dolly. The location acknowledges that i never recieved it and promised a credit, no credit has ever been applied. The renting location tells me that "its out of our hands". I will NEVER rent or give any business to Bettys bait and tackle again. One of the worst customer service experiences i have had. The guy i always talk to says he is going to check with his boss but he will not give me contact information so that i can talk to that person directly.

This was the worst experience. I would never recommend this location and I'm leaning in not reccomensong uhaul to anyone. I got to the location about 15 mins early so we could do all the paperwork. When I get there the employee tells me that it's going to be a few mins before he can release to me because he has to complete the transaction from the night before. An hour later he is having issues with the app. I finally get my truck and I get a call an hour later saying my car didn't go through. So I have to give him my card number over the phone. Then as I'm driving back from my new place I get a call from the employee saying that I need to get to the drop off location ASAP. No problem, I was already in my way! I do inform him that I am not close by since I moved to a different city. He say it's fine and we hang up. 12 mins pass and he calls me again and now he is frustrated with me because I haven't arrived. He is well aware that I moved to a different city. I let him know again that i was in my way but I was still far because I moved to a different city. I get to the drop off location. He runs my card to finish the transaction. Then I get my receipt and it has charged me for 2 days. Two day? I haven't even used it one day. The few hours I had the truck I was being continuously called to hurry up. So I asked the employee, why am I being charged for two day? His response is that he has nothing to do with the charges and that uhaul always returns the overcharges I just have to wait three to five days. I ask him if there is a phone number I can call to confirm that? He says it's 1800uhaul (not the actual phone number). So I find the actual phone number online. I actually find two phone numbers. I call the billing number and they are closed and will be open on Monday. Fine. I wait for Monday at call two both numbers and I am literally never answered after the phone is ringing 16 mins. Ok maybe their busy. I call again after work and someone answers, again after waiting for 15 mins. I let the customer service rep what's going on. The rep ask me if I have contact the location I rented from. I let her know what the employee told me. She tells me she has to call the location to confirm what I told her. I should receive a call back in 78 hours. She also told me it does take 3-5 days for a refund. I don't mind waiting days for a refund because I get that there is little to no control on the business side and it's more about the bank but by the time I actually get my money back it will have been about two weeks.

Missing the wire pigtail for the electrical connection. Had to wait 45 minutes for the rep to buy one. Forgot the furniture pads and he didn't know how to refund it.

Check-in person not familiar with how to receive out of area vehicles when initial drop off was chosen for a different location. Had to call supervisor numerous times while filling in forms. Took over 30 minutes total until off site supervisor took charge and completed the delivery papers in less than a minute.

When we rented out a van at this location, the back end had some dirt in it. It wasnt very much, so we werent really concerned about it. When we returned it today, they charged us the cleaning fee. We only took the van to commute to the mountains because all the car rental places were closed because it was Sunday! There was no way that dirt would have gotten in there from us in the first place. Absolute horrible experience, not only were they calling us liars, but they were degrading. Shaking their heads, saying it was a brand new van- definitely had people rent it out before us, and would barely hear us out. They asked if we had the front windows open, as if that was the way the dirt got in there. Wouldn't doubt if they continued to leave the dirt in the back just to collect an extra 25 dollars for each customer. Cannot believe how rude uhaul dealers can be.

fill in helper was very computer challenged and it took 15 minutes to pull up computer information so I could leave the trailer with some peace of mind that there wouldn't be a screw up. On a positive note, the 6x12 trailer was an excellent towing trailer--I have a powerful truck and have towed a bunch. Was like a feather to tow. good equipment.

No fault of the location. However, I rented a 4x8 trailer and U-haul reserved a 5x8 trailer. In the future do not show 4x8 trailer as available when only a 5x8 is available.
