The guy working there looked like a cave man. Came walking up with long hair pulled to the top of his head with a zip tie, sandles with very dirty feet. I wish I would have taken a picture because word just can't describe. I checked in online. Not sure what the point to that was because nothing was ready. I had to stand there for almost an hour in the heat while he played musical trucks to get mine out. The office building was so dirty and poorly maintained that it looked abandoned. The property had trash and things everywhere. I had made my reservation to pick up the truck in Portland, TN but when I called to confirm my reservation I was told they didn't have the equipment I rented and that Uhaul would be in touch with where I needed to go. They never did. Instead I had to wait on hold with customer service for 45 minutes before anyone even got on the phone then on hold for another 30 while they tried to figure out what was going on two days before my pick up date. The movers I booked through Uhaul showed up 3 hours late and almost not at all claiming someones car broke down. Moving a long distance is stressful enough. The experience I had with this Company made it even worse

My dolly that I ordered wasn't in the truck. Tried calling the location to see how to handle and got an answering machine. I left 2 different messages, and I still haven't heard from them And this is 2 days later. I ended up having to go purchase a dolly while my helpers waited on me. Super inconvenient!

Truck had check engine light on Auto Transport Tire blew out on the highway going 55 mph, took 90 mins to get a tire brought to us. Absolutely HORRIBLE The moving staff we hired from the uhaul site in Gallatin was great. The moving staff we hired from the uhaul site at our dropoff area was TERRIBLE AS THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!!!!!!!
