Please give advanced notice of secondary method of prove identity. We did not have a passport with us, and verifying via an alternate contact is difficult as they do not expect a phone call. This led to delays, a hassle to others and an overall inconvenience that could have been prevented with advance notice.
Apparently, the U-Haul network was down and the van I reserved could not be released at the time requested. However within 1 hour Darren worked out a way to release the van since my DL and cc info was already uploaded in the system. I appreciate Darren's diligence and working with me even though the system was not working. Satisfied Customer John Durham
Electronic check-in did not work - said could not locate phone, yet location services were turned on. Too extra 15 to check in manually inside the store.
Did an after hours drop off, so I don't have much to say. The person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, though.

No problems at all. Everything went very smooth. Friendly service.
Each time I have used UHAUL it has taken over an hour to figure out my reservation when I arrive which has made moving even more stressful than it already is. Both times my card was charged the incorrect amount and I had to wait to be refunded. Costumer service was always kind but there are just always problems. Moving is stressful enough, getting the truck should be the easy part.

Mobile app was very difficult to use for after hour returns. Wasn't able to complete process.
It is hard to find this location on a busy street. No Uhaul sign out front!
I use cash, whenever I can. But, U-Haul does not accept cash. Not only is that unacceptable to me, personally, it may be a legal issue for U-Haul, since it is clearly printed on all US currency: "THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE."
Agent was not familiar with adding insurance after initial rental transaction so this took extra time but now he knows so this won't be a problem in the future.
The online return experience was execrable. I completed it only to tell you how bad it was.
I made a reservation online - without issue. 2 days later i chatted with a Uhaul rep asking if I could reserve the truck for the day before ( pick u that night ) so I wouldn't have to pick up at 7 the next morning - but still needed it all day as planned. The day before my trip I went online just to find out that the reps had not amended my reservation correctly and I need to return the truck at 2:30 am - I called and the girl was able to find me another truck but a good 49 minutes away from my house - I called back and asked if I could speak to a supervisor and she offered me a 25 coupon. which was nice - but once again as the cusotmer I have to do something more work for me - where I have to remember to enter in the code. None of this was my doing - it was a mistake byt he scheduling person.
Document all dents and scratches that don't have an â€œxâ€ on it. Very convenient location and easy to find
They gave me the wrong address, they never answered my called, and when I finally get to the place, I had to wait 45 MINUTES for the verification! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I WON'T RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE AT ALL!!
The phone check out process took over 30 minutes and then the time was not calculated from the time I got into the car. I tried to call customer service twice and was on hold for over 30 minutes for each call. This was a very slow and painful process. Plus there was never any mention about how to handle tolls and now I have to deal with that. I have rented vehicles from Uhaul in the pas without any issues, this was the worst experience ever with Uhaul.
I was moved from my original location to one 20 miles away without consent, this led to an extra mileage charge.
First time renting and I will do it again. Very easy and the guys are great!
log in process very bad - spent 1.5 hours trying to sort it out.
Forgot to put dolly and furniture pads in truck. I went back to pick up dolly incurring extra miles. I didn't get the furniture pads. I haven't seen the bill credit for the furniture pads. Not a great experience.
The gentlemen helping me was having issues renting me the trailer. Had to call his DM to try and walk him thru the process.
