The staff were more than helpful , friendly and very well prepared. I rented a car carrier. No waiting around, itt was on site, in great shape, worked properly and the move went off without a hitch. Very satisfied.

I booked a 15' truck and she only had a 10' when I arrived. This was a really difficult way to start a long day. No one books a 15' truck if they only need 10'. I'm disappointed with this experience. 10% off was offered and additional km's. But I had to make two trips! This was a major delay and pain in the ass.

The safety chain would not connect to my hitch (honda trailer hitch). The hooks were to small. I had to purchase hooks that would fit my truck and your trailer. My cost $18.00.

the equipment needs to be maintained. My trailer was terrible. It very difficult to open/close the rollup door and locking claps.

Trailer had 3 to 4 inches of ice and snow in it. It was not a big deal, but having picked the trailer up late in the day, it was just one more thing to do. We will continue to rent from the Skyways Motel outlet as they were very courteous and professional.

I was charged an extra day rental, even though my contract said that I had until the next day to return the vehicle. I had explained that there were inconsistencies between the reservation I had made, and the contract I was given, but I understood that I had compied with the contact when I left the dropoff, and would not be charged extra.

I received a message on my way to Orillia, which was my original, confirmed pick-up location. When I arrived, I was informed that the 5x8 was no longer available. I then had to find another 5x8 which was back up near Gravenhurst. I did find this frustrating: however, the people who assisted me were very helpful.

I really do hope that Uhaul reads this and takes their customers reservations serious into the future. On October 9th a booked a appointment online to have a trailer hitch installed on my vehicle for my move from Maple Ontario to Dartmouth Nova Scotia, and on the 8th I reserved a single axle 4x8 enclosed trailer. Appointment date for the hitch was for the 26th, and pickup of the trailer was the 29th. I get a call the morning of the 26th from the location the hitch was to be installed at letting me know that my hitch had not arrived to be installed and they re-booked me for the 9th of November. Location was 152 East Drive, in Brampton Ontario. You mean to tell me you had 3 weeks to Order the parts and have them arrive and you couldn't deliver as a multimillion dollar company? Astonishing. I had to sit in their parking lot that morning to scramble and find a local company to pull this off, low and behold a local hitch shop had me in and out the next day within 30 minutes. Buy Local! Now, the 28th rolls around and I get a email from their district manager, stating the trailer wouldn't be available until the 2nd of November, my reservation is for the 29th of October... This is not how moving works leaving your customers consistently scrambling. I had to arrange to drive 3 hours round trip, and my additional gas money to drive 150 kilometers north to pick up my trailer because Uhaul isn't organized enough or efficient enough to have a trailer in the city for my reservation date, leaving me to hang out and dry twice within 3 days. I get the trailer home, just to realize one of the trailer tires is 110% bald - never having towed before I didn't think to check until it was in my driveway - but this tire was a smooth as a babies bottom so, it was WELL overdue to be changed. Thankfully their roadside assistance is more efficient and reliable than their booking service. I believe I deserve way more than a $50 credit/refund for my headache and time. I'd love for Uhaul to get back to me.

U Haul needs to install a jack on the tongue of all it's heavier trailers.. I had a 6x12..with a bad back it's not good to be lifting weight and I'm sure older people would be needing the same..if not some people aren't all that strong to even lift it's tongue weight.

Please don't confirm appointments if you can't have a truck 110%. It was very stressful the morning of calling and trying to get the truck size and location that I had requested and your company confirmed. The day before I got a message saying that what we ordered was changed and the location that most accommodated us was changed to one that was a two hour drive was a little outrageous.

Tail light on the right side did not work and one of the safety chains had a broken hook . No worries though . I used a set of magnetic trailer lights on the vehicle I was towing and the safety chain hook issue was overcome with a 5/16 bolt . I made sure the representative at the location I dropped it off at , was aware of these problems and they said they would take care of it before it was rented again . Overall , it was a good experience.
