The truck was fine and service was decent. The fellow who helped me on the phone was much nicer / more knowledgeable than the rude people who answered the phone when I called other locations. However, I was very put off by the fact that nobody in the office ever put on a mask. The hanging plexiglass was simply not enough for my comfort in this high Covid season. I would have gone elsewhere had it not been convenient to my house and my storage facility. Also, when I tried calling U-Haul to secure some help with moving (on recommendation of an in-store rep) there was no way to connect with anybody and the rep didn't have any info to help me. I thought that was very odd. I found movers elsewhere.
David and his staff at Monarch Auto Sales are very nice and it's a pleasure to do business with them. This is the second time I've rented a U-Haul truck from them. Just like the first time, the truck was nice and clean and it ran and drove good with no issues. I will definitely use them again the next time I need a U-Haul rental truck.
This store charged me for dolly that I did not pre-ordered or used it. I did not request any dolly. Also they charged me for a blanket that I did not order or used. The customer service was very horrible and very rude people.
Monarch Auto Sales made it quick and easy to pick up my U-Haul rental truck. The truck was clean inside and out. It also ran good and was easy to drive. I would definitely rent a U-Haul truck from Monarch Auto Sales again and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a rental truck.
I was charged extra for gas and gas was put back into the vehicle before return
The gas was on 7/8 of tank , when I return it I filled up completely full , I ask for refund but they told me no refund
You need to make sure all costs are known. Completely overcharged me without my knowledge and i am PISSED. Not only was the experience so confusing and long to actually get the rental, the hidden costs were not known and recieved at the end of my rental which took me by complete surprise. Worst experiance I have EVER had with Uhaul and i do NOT plan on using them again
I went to this location during the covid pandemic. No one was wearing a mask besides me and my partner. The employees were behind plexiglass, however, this is not safe. It made me worry about the cleanliness of the van. Also, there was a used Kleenex crumpled in the side door of the uhaul. I felt very unsafe and I will no longer be supporting any uhaul business. For my next move, I will be using a private company that takes the health of others more seriously. This overall was an uneasy and unsafe condition, as my partner has an underlying medical condition.

I completed the reservation and check-in process online. Once I arrived at the location, I had to repeat the same process with the U-Haul employee despite the fact that I had a printed confirmation in-hand. If U-Haul wants to improve, then employing a check-in process that does not require duplication of efforts would be most beneficial to the customer and the U-Haul employee.
The woman only did a quote! I said I wanted a reservation!
It was a great experience the only thing I didn't like was no one was wearing a mask in the office.

Disappointed in the customer service received here. Was asked if I knew how to hook up the trailer instead of offering to help. When I brought it back they said â€œjust drop it where you got it fromâ€. Again, no offer to help. Pretty heavy (6x12) trailer to do that on your own....
My uhaul experience today was unacceptable!! I rented a 10ft truck from the Exxon Irving Park location for 8:30 am. When I arrived there was no truck available. The owner said this happens with Uhaul every week ðŸ¤¨ I had to go to the Monarch location And it took 1/2 an hour to get a truck and it had NO gas in it. We weren't able to get started with moving until after 9:30. I will not rent from uhaul again. Penske has a much better process and hassle free. You have permanently lost my business.

The truck had not been cleaned when I got in.
Because of e check in the gas was not where they guy had me to sign inside before even going to truck. So my fault for believing a rep and we put more gas in it than it was and still charged. Michael whom I spoke to when I called to complain was very sarcastic.
David the manager was extremely rude. The employees were nice and actually apologized for his behavior. They said he gets â€œthat wayâ€ when the place is busy.

Not charge EXTRA for equipment that was paid for already online and NOT REFUND THE OVER WITH NI CORRESPONDENCE AT ALL
