randall kThis location is managed by a very rude older man. Upon arriving, he was out of the office and left a note on his door with his cell phone number to call because he was running an errand. I called twice with an issue checking in and picking up my rental and the man did not answer his phone. He finally arrived several minutes to an hour later as I was on the phone with tech support and proceeded to try to talk to me as I was actively engaged in conversation with the agent. I was asked if I knew where the lock box for the keys were located and I told the agent I would go inside and ask, As I was asking the man this question, the agent was simultaneously telling me to look on the southeast or southwest of the building. I did not hear as I was asking the manager where his lock box is located. The onsite manager then says " They just told you. Didn't you hear them? Can't you hear?" in a very rude and condescending way. After collecting the keys, I then proceeded to do the inspection on the truck for corporate. The pictures did not match the state of the truck as it had been several dented and gouged from a previous renter or driver. The manager of the location then proceeded to follow me around and tell me to "Just approve it. It's my truck. They already know about this. See the x's? Just approve the truck. Just hit approve. They already know about it. They don't ever use updated pictures." The x's he referenced were not of the current damage and the truck had obviously been damaged beyond the latest claim and I felt like he wanted to later accuse me of causing these damages to his truck. He also stated " Make sure you sweep out the back of the truck or they'll charge you a cleaning fee and I don't want to clean." also in a very rude and condescending way. I returned the truck with the back of the truck swept as he requested and he then filed a cleaning fee for the floor mats of the front of the truck, which he made no mention of cleaning and one would expect a reasonable amount of dirt on the floormat of a moving vehicle. This man seems bent on charging customers for anything he possibly can to extort additional money from them. I do not recommend this location to anybody. I, however, have had a pleasant experience with UHaul and tech support overall. I would recommend the company by and far to anybody needing a box truck. I will, however, warn them of this location and to steer clear of this particular person.
