Uhaul mobile pick up app did not work correctly, and telephone customer service was unhelpful, and aggressive. Online customer service was much more helpful. I requested a recording of my conversation with phone service rep and did not receive until I requested a 2nd time. In the past uhaul had been my "go to" for any move, but I think I will shop around for other options with future needs based on this experience. The vehicle itself, was good, and the price fair. My only issue is with the ease of pickup and dropoff, and the lack of concern or care from the customer service.

I got a contract saying the truck got 126824.5 miles but it actually has two more miles. I ended up paying those two extra miles without even using them.

Kelly at southport U haul sent me to the wrong location as she did not have a big truck. You should get all locations a list of cell phones or answerable phone numbers for communications between the stores so WE DONT HAVE TO DRIVED ALL OVER AND THEN FIND OUT ITS THE WRONG PLACE.

Uhauls reservation system sucks. I needed a trailer I knew "Only Way to Go " had, but the reservation system would not let me choose it.Required a visit to the facility, two phone calls, and two failed on line attempts to register. In the end it left me trusting the people at the store to have the trailer available on the day I needed it. The folks at Only Way to Go were great. UHaul 's reservation system caused me to WANT BADLY to rent from these guys. They deserve better.

Started poor because truck was not at location originally reserved. Trick was fine but I forgot my padlock on the overhead door. Dealer did not do walk around with me or otherwise would have seen it. I was charged for extra day and had my lock cut off. If dealer had done their job I wouldn't have been charged extra.

I would like a complete refund. I have called your customer service at least 4 times trying to geth the same issue resolved from last week. When I rented my U-Haul the store where i got it from said that an initial hold of $73 would be put on my card until I returned the truck. I renturned the truck early and filled the gas tank back up. I was not given a receipt and I was told that my receipt would be emailed to me. I have never received a receipt and I do not know what I was Charged for. U-haul has charged my card 3 different times. The initial hold for $73 was placed on my card the same day I rented the truck. When i returned the truck, I had a charge for about $127 on my card and the $73 charge was gone. ABout 2 days later I noticed I have an additional hold on my card for $53.50. I called customer service to ask what is this additional charge for since I never got a receipt and I sill don't know what I was charged for. The first rep I talked to said she didnt see the chage but could file a claim and that the credit card department would have 72 hours to resolve the issue. That was last week and the issue is not resolved. I called again and spoke to a different representative who was rude and hung up on me. I called back and spoke with another representative at which point I asked to speak with a supervisor. The wait for the supervisor was very long and I had to get off the phone because I am out of town on business. I requested that a supervisor call me back and I never received a return call. At this point I would like a full refund. It appears that U-Haul boldly making unauthorized transactions on my account and will not address the issue. This is very disappointing as I have used U-hail services before and never had an issue. The fact that it is taking over a week to resolve this issue and I have not received a receipt in over a week seems very shady business. Also I am out of town working and I have had to make time to call at least 4 times and still no resolution. I would really like a full refund and I will avoid Uhaul services in the future so I dont run into this type of problem again that takes an eternity to resolve and that does not seem like UHaul wants to resolve. Also your holding times to speak to an actual person when you call customer service is ridiculous. I am on hold right now and have been holding for 22 minutes and counting.

I was disappointed that I had reserved my truck for 4 hours due to be picked up at 10:00 a.m. When I arrived the man at the counter said it would have to be back by 12:30 p.m. leaving me only 2 1/2 hours to complete our move. He did relent and say I could have it until 1:00 p.m. I clearly reserved this truck several days before, but no one advised me then it had been double booked and no one called me in advance. When I left the lot, I noticed the the gas tank was between the F mark and 3/4 full, so when I returned the truck, I topped the tank off paying for someone else's gas. I advised the clerk of this issue and he said he would make an adjustment, but no adjustment was made. I returned the truck in about an hour and 45 minutes as I wanted to help the clerk out and the next customer. My second disappointed was I was forced to pay for insurance when I advised the clerk that I had full coverage thru State Farm. But he said, I had to buy the coverage on the truck. Bottom line...my $19.99 truck rental cost me $56.38 plus gas that someone else failed to put in the tank. I will point out the that the clerk was very polite.

This comment is more for U-Haul than this location. I think the moms attic should come with some sort of a net that stretches across to hold things in place. It would’ve prevented a spill of things I had stacked up there. Its 2018. I would Encourage u-haul to implement hands-free in their vehicles for safety purposes because people are going to make calls with or without it. Would also like to see a better way to store a large iPhone or Samsung phone while it is charging versus throwing it over the top of the dash and watching it slide around. Some phones just don’t fit in the little cubbies while they have a cord plugged into them. This is not just a convenience item but safety. I rented a 26 foot truck. There should’ve been plenty of room underneath the box truck to store a longer ramp if it were designed for it. A three or 4 foot longer ramp would’ve given me a substantially lesser grade that I would’ve had to push things up and down. Hence it would’ve been a heck of a lot safer. Again...Safety Again, it’s 2018, it should be cost justifiable to install a back up camera so that novice drivers can operate the vehicle safely. Again...Safety I would also encourage you to clearly state on the desk somewhere which side of the vehicle the gas tank access is on so the drivers do not need to get out of their vehicles and search for when they fill up. Again novice drivers don’t always know. This can be a safety issue if a driver has to back out or pull through an area because they pulled in the wrong way. You should do as much as you can to make sure novice drivers don’t have to do anything extra ever .
