I was not happy with this experience. I ordered a 20 foot truck 6 weeks before my move date and the day before my pickup it got changed to 26, which I knew I did not have room for. My pickup location was changed to 20 miles in the opposite direction and when I got there it was closed. Since there was no one there I also did not get my furniture dolly, that was kind of important for moving large furniture. All of this made my experience very unpleasant.
Douglas R.Worst experience ever with Uhaul. What happened? I made a reservation weeks in advance and no truck was available at the agreed upon time. We had to drive an hour away to pick up a truck from a place that was closed. We lost half a day. The representative on the phone told us we should feel lucky we had a truck at all. Later, we tried to call someone on the phone but had to wait a long time and our questions were never answered. Not sure what's going on, but Uhaul used to be a lot more professional and customer oriented.
