The downside of Uhaul is never knowing where your pick up location is. The Hammond location was certainly out of the way for me. The staff were friendly, though the place itself has alot to be desired.

Richard wHorrible service. My reservation was changed last minute adding stress to my move. Customer service is heartless and unhelpful. Empty guarantees. No communication between headquarters and local dealerships let alone with paying customers. If I can rate a 0 star I would.

Gary SLocation was 45 minutes away from original reserved location in Ottawa. It only had the one truck and 2 trailers. When we first showed up there was no one there, had to call and text to get someone to come. The truck was parked in front of what looked like boarded up buildings. Employees were courteous and nice, but the office was a mess. I can understand it is a small location, but the office could have been clean and tidy. When we were told of the location we did not know where it was until we put it in the GPS. I think customer service should have informed us of the distance and offered options such as what truck was available closer.
