I explained where I was moving to but was never given the option to turn in the truck once we downloaded. I wasn't told that rentals weren't by the day but instead I was charged for over 200 in miles. Extremely disappointed with how I was treated in the process. I rented from one location and the day of the rental I received a call to switch location for pick up.

U-Haul website said they opened at 7:30 AM. When I got there at 7:45 AM, sign on door said they opened at 8:30 AM. When no one had shown up by 8:45 AM, and I couldn't get any answer on their phone number, I called the main U-Haul support number. Someone finally showed up after 9:00 AM, but then they had to call someone else to find out whether the truck had already been rented to someone else or not, and then where the keys to the truck were. When we finally got everything straightened out, and I got the keys to the truck, I found that the cab hadn't been cleaned up from the previous rental. Overall, a very poor experience. Not what I would expect from U-Haul.
There are no improvements needed, customer service was superb and rental process was quick and easy
I wasn't aware that you had changed my pick-up location until I arrived at the location where I reserved the rental. This cost me some time on my move and I wasn't very happy with it. I would also like you to be aware that I would have paid up to 15% extra if only the vehicle that I was rented had cruise control, which unfortunately it did not. Please let customers know if the vehicle they are reserving has this option available.
Our reservation was for 10, however one of the confirmations said 10:59 so we arrived at 10:45 just to be on the safe side. When we arrived, the gentleman helping us said he came just for that and was about to leave since we didn't show up on time. The pickup process was very long and we weren't given any review of rules or check of equipment. He handed us the keys and motioned to the lot telling us it was over there. We asked which truck was ours and he said he didn't know but thought it was the one on the end, not bothering to explain that they are labelled and the number was on the key. Then he promptly walked back inside without ensuring our equipment was appropriate.

Easy to turn in
The guy who rented me the trailer (in Georgia) did NOT know how to login and take pics from his phone or process an application. It took OVER TWO HOURS to get me going and finalized. He did not get the paperwork going until half an hour into the conversation and I did it Online previously. Then he had to get a copy of my license and could take a pic with his phone or could he print out a receiptâ€” and he wanted to charge me another $60! What is the purpose of preparation online and payment online previously? The yard was so small and not well signed. He did not really know how to hook up the trailer and I had to assist. Really? This was the most poor customer service experience I have ever had with a rental! The fact he took over two hours to get it all done even after calling your help desk 2X! I should charge you all my hourly rate because of his ineptitude and lack of understanding of the process! I really want my money back and ask that he be given some remedial training. AU h a total waste of time and effort. Again I want my money back and will pursue this complaint with the BBB and State Insurance Commissioner â€” as he could not explain they the various levels of insurance covered. Poor communication and poor customer experience all the way around. Incidentally, when I dropped off the trailer in Montana, the Manager sent me an email and said he would get with the Georgia office. The worker in Montana who took my trailer in and checked it over with me was excellent and very helpful. Thanks you for your time and ability to listen. Besides a few trailers parked in a muddy side yard you would never know this was a uhaul place. Zero trailer or towing items in the store. Made reservation online but was not ready for me at pickup. After departing location, trailer popped off my hitch as they never tighten it down. Glad I didn't lose my truck.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
