I would add a few more employees, particularly during peak times. I was able to skip the counter and the line because of using mobile booking but there was a long line of frustrated people when I went to get the keys. And it would be helpful to have someone on the lot helping the mobile users - directing them to the vehicle, etc., as there are many trucks.

When I turned in truck the man working took the keys and told me I would be emailed a receipt. I asked him how I would know I put the right amount of fuel in so I wouldn't be charged extra but he was the only person working and there was a line of people waiting so he kind of just brushed me off and said I would be fine. As of the next morning I still hadn't received the receipt emailed and the truck was still showing as actively out to me. I ended up going back to the location and explained to the people who were working what was happening. They couldn't find the keys I had turned in the previous day and could only check the truck in because I had thought to take a picture of the trucks mileage and fuel level when I returned it. While I was waiting to have this handled another person retuned a truck and was told “just to leave the keys in the truck”, which is perhaps why issues like mine are occurring. I've rented from this location before with no issue but would not recommend again based on the issues I had.

Truck was dirty and covered in mud inside and out, and the interior was covered in animal hair. Worst experience by far in dealing with this location. I let the manager know and he seemed like he didn't care at all.

Waited nearly 20 minutes before an employee was even seen. There were 2 people ahead of me and 3 behind. We could hear someone in the shop area and one customer opened the door to let them know the waiting room was full and the employee in the shop started yelling at her. It took over an hour to get a reserved truck. Truck cab was not clean. The box had debris on the floor and the packing blanket was missing.

The man working today was not helpful at all. He did the bare minimum and then when I approached him with a concern about them requesting I put more gas in the truck then was in it to begin with, he shrugged it off like he couldn't do anything to help. I was then charged upon drop off even though I put the same amount of gas in it that was in when I got the truck. I also dropped the truck off at 5pm when it was due at 5:30 but they didn't process the return until 6:17 so I was charged twice when it was their error, not mine. I do not recommend the Henrietta, NY location.

Trailer had flat tire. Uhaul chat, text and customer support nearly impossible to reach. Website broken “this page is temporarily unavailable” messages. Phone tree never connects you to store. Live chat feature never works and phone line takes 30 mins to reach a person. Very frustrating . No refund or compensation issued

The original cargo van I was supposed to be given had a crack in the windshield & had to be swapped out. In the second van, I found Home Depot receipts dated June & December 2020 in the glove box. I found a U-Haul receipt dated 2/6/21 in one of the doors - both the drivers side & passenger doors were full of garbage. On the floor, behind the drivers seat, I also found a white plastic garbage bag, and orange screw driver, a rubber band & a pen. The back of the van wasn't horribly filthy, but you could definitely tell it had not been swept out after the last client. Don't you folks still assess a cleaning fee if the vehicle is returned dirty?(You should - the last two times I have rented from you, I have picked-up dirty vehicles, which I have always returned clean! I NEVER RECEIVED a final receipt after I returned the vehicle - in the past, I have always been given the option of a receipt (paper or email). Parking lot was an ice skating rink - large patches of ice that was visible as well as black ice....definitely needed to have salt spread. I ended up falling on a patch of black ice, on the way to my car, after I returned the van. I got to your store approximately 7:15 am & quite obvious that the "closer" from the night before couldn't even be bothered to sweep/mop the floor of the store.

I told the person my issues when I dropped off the truck.... he didn't seem concerned. The brakes on the truck we're HORRIBLE- luckily we didn't have to travel far overall, but it was definitely concerning. Second, the truck was not clean... underneath the middle seat there was a smashed cinnamon bun with sticky sugar everywhere. It had obviously been there awhile, even though there was a lot of it. The cab smell was nauseating. Not sure if I'll rent from haul again.

I was told the truck had 3/4 of a tank when I picked it up but it had only half a tank. I took a picture with intent to show when I returned, but returned after hours so I just refilled above 3/4 to avoid any charges. Slightly annoyed by that, but overall saved a lot of money going through uhaul vs Penske. Satisfied and will use again.

I rented a cargo van. The van (particularly the back portion) was filthy- never swept out after the previous renter. Upfront, I found a rental agreement from October 2020, an empty "instruction" packet and a used rag in the cab. Truck had a funky smell - an air freshener was in the glove box, but it wasn't doing any good. Windshield fluid was low - this time of year, it should be checked and topped off a little more frequently. Staff at the facility were both helpful and friendly.
