This was the slowest customer service of my life. Took almost 30 minutes to get me the keys to the truck. They couldn't find the keys for the truck then the key wouldn't open the truck and when they finally did get it to open they told us not to lock it so it wouldn't happened again. I rented the truck for 2 hours and still had to have it back by 2 when it took them from 12-12:35 to get me the keys.TAYLORANN W.
Had another great rental, this time a van, which was a lot more than we expected it to be. Had a lot more capacity than we expected as we crammed our daughter's belongings in for a move. While loaded the van had plenty of pick up to keep up with all the fast moving (70-78mph) vehicles on the interstate here in Maryland. Has all the latest features like a back up camera, vibration warning system when veering off course, etc. Really enjoyed driving it. Thanks! My only hitch was the website-based check-in which confused me at one page where it seemed to be trying to tell me the wordlock combo but there was no code showing. Finally I realized the combo shows up a few pages later, and I was able to get the key code. Whew!George T.

Survey only asks about location. UHaul should setup to score itself or corporate. Was prompted to create an account online, enter credit, ID contract terms and at the location had to do all this again at the POS. On top of that the terminal and staffs computer kept having to start over and credit card terminal kept failing. I had this same experience renting in the past. Also happended to other customers forming queue. Invest more in UX and value stream efficiencies or a uber/turo disrupter will reach the market UX better than you.Brian P.

I wasn't happy about the fact that I got the truck with less than a quarter tank of gas in it and ran out of gas and had to walk a mile with a gas can when it ran out before I even got to the other side of Baltimore you. That was a waste of an hour and a half especially when I had six people waiting on me to help load up a five bedroom house and I was in an hour and a half late. You should always have your trucks filled completely when you rent them out instead of making your customers have to stop and get gas before the evening get where they're going. Pretty sure I'm going to rent a truck the next time from someone else. I don't think anyone appreciates running out of gas 20 miles from the U-Haul facility before they even get to the destination plus I'm pretty sure your trust should get more than 5 miles to the gallon. Pretty sure that they need tune-ups but this is not anything to do with the local workers who were very diligent even know they only had one person working the counter on a Saturday morning. That is more of a management problem of not scheduling enough people to handle the demand. Everyone there was very nice and polite and had to apologize a dozen times because of a line 10 people long. I showed up exactly at 10 a.m. when I was supposed to pick up my truck and I had to wait 20 minutes to get to the counter. So again it's not the employees it's the management that is trying to save money by not scheduling enough people to work on a Saturday which as you know it is the busiest day for moving as that's when people tend to move on the weekends since they work during the week so yes how about reimbursing me the $35 an hour I make on my job times an hour and a half that I wasted carrying a gas can down the highway at 11 a.m. on a Saturday again the employees were four lights and apologized for being short-handed but when you're shorthanded a manager should step up and start doing the job of a cashier or truck sweeper or whatever needs to be done and not just sit back and say oh well we are short-handed today.
