The online application process is horrendous. Every screen is selling me something I don't need by default and the link to say I don't want your overpriced, unnecessary items is tiny and hard to see. It is clearly a planned deception to try and upsell. I consider it one of the worst websites I've ever seen for this type of service. Even though I filled out the application and paid online, I still had to spend 30 minutes in the location. First inline and then filling out redundant information that was already gathered with the deceptive online application. Incredibly inefficient. I really hate having my time wasted and going to uHaul is in the same class as the DMV.PETER THOMAS N.

There isn't enough space for after-hours drops in the drop-off line. When I dropped off my trailer in the morning, the driveway to the back was completely blocked by dropped-off trucks. The dropoff procedure wasn't very clear - when I arrived at 9am to return the truck, there was a line of trucks waiting to be processed so I waited in line behind them. Once I was able to pull into the return area, I waited for quite a while for a staff member to come and process the return but no one did. Finally a staff member walking by asked if I needed help and I said I was waiting to return the truck and he said "if the keys are in it, you're good to go". In the past, I've always had a staff member process the return and let me know my total cost before I left. Would have been nice to know about the return procedure in advance so that I didn't stand there waiting for no reason.KATHERINE J.

I returned the trailer I rented an hour before the due time and the guy received it and told us we were all good to go. The next day I get a call saying I haven't returned it and then they charge me an extra day for "not returning it" and it not being in contract.Joshua B.

I rented the truck for 21 total of 24 hrs and was told they would not be at the store when I returned the teuck as it was on a Sunday and they closed at 4 PM my drop off time was at 5:30 total of 24 hours and was charged for two days instead of the one day doubling all my costs! When I called the store they told me they would not charge me for a second day even if I drop the truck off at 9:45 in the evening. I called customer service they said they would have someone call me and talk to me about the situation and Wendy assistant manager called me back from the Hillsboro location â€œMeganâ€ he informed me that she would not look into the situation and that it was against their policy to give me that information. The fact is I did get that information from one of her employees and I was told they would not be charged a second day and they will not do anything to take care of it! This is a bad customer service! Send something to a consumer just to appease them and not follow through is very manipulative and not acceptable!JUDY J.
When we returned the equipment early, we were not automatically given the refund. I had to contact UHaul to ask for a refund. While the refund was immediately processed, it was annoying to have to spend time on something that should have been handled by the store.Rachel T.

Return process was ridiculous. Filled tank to what was requested and from the trip to the gas station to the drop off location (which was right next door) the gauge dropped and they wanted to charge me about 28 dollars for gas pumped from their own station.
