Couldn't get the supplies I ordered. There were true U-Haul dealers with supplies close by but for some reason I couldn't get sent to a full service dealer. If the truck would not have been in the parking lot I would never have thought a U-Haul dealer would have been in that VERY small strip mall by any stretch of the imagination. Very poor service. Nice guy at the location. Just not a true U-Haul dealer especially in that huge market.Dale D.

The truck was parked at this location but the office was locked and no one answered the phone. After I contacted customer service, who were not able to get an answer from the office or the regional representative, I got a call back from the location manager. He was puzzled at having gotten a message from me and was surprised that I did not have a code to unlock the key boxes. He returned from the errand he was on in about 15 minutes and was very polite and professional, saying he would get things cleared up quickly. He entered a lot of info on his computer and phone, went outside a couple of times to get more info, when he tried to enter my driver's license the system wouldn't accept it (it is valid and not brand new) and so the friend who was with me had to be a secondary name on the account. Then he discovered the person who had dropped the truck off had not â€˜checked it in' so there was no record of it in the location inventory, that meant a lengthy process had to be started to get the record straight since he couldn't rent me a truck the system didn't think he had. One and a half hours after I got to the location to pick up the truck, it was ready to go. The location manager was professional, polite, and good humored thoroughout - but the system is very broken. Once I was on the road, I realized the dirt on the windshield was not changing after 3 tries with windshield wipers and lots of fluidâ€¦the smears were on the inside of the windshield, and when I touched it there was a sticky feel. I was driving west at sunset and the glare off the grime almost made the lack of visibility dangerous. The air conditioning took a while to get cool at all, and one of the passenger vents had no grille which made most of the air blast out of that empty hole and kept the driver side vents from blowing much air the entire trip. When I turned the truck in at my destination, they were appalled at the condition of the windshield and air conditioning, so I don't think I overreacted.Jean M.
