The lady was very kind and made things very easy going so I was in and out right away.

I reserved a 17 ft truck and have the email confirmation of that. I am disabled and this move was very hard on me. But besides that, someone with uhaul changed my 17 ft truck to a 15 ft and didn't express that when I rented it. I had to extend my days and I left a vm with Valley Pools because noone answered and I told her I rented 17 ft but was downgraded. Do I had to make more trips. I have never been downgraded wherever I rented from. If they don't have it, they ALWAYS upgrade u at no extra cost. I also did after hrs check in and also explained this and was told someone would contact me within 2 business days. No-one ever did. Never heard a anything nor did they charge me any extra fees besides what I paid upfront and filling tank up so I assumed they had addressed the issue and helping me out due to their mistake or just taking advantage of me to get business. But about 10 days later they charge my card without a word till after the fact. No still no attempt to address the issue I made with Valley Pools rental or after stating again when I did after hrs checkin when told I would be contacted within 2 days to address the problem.

It would be nice to be SURE about where your UHAUL pickup location will be instead of getting a voicemail the day before your pickup telling you it's over an hour away.

Again something had happened with my contract with U-Haul. Upon arrival the computer system did not have my details included. I fortunately had a copy of my original contract with me that included drop-off at this location. The local U-Hail agent was thank goodness Ok with my copy and ignored the computer system content. This was again an example of how you do not want to be treated by U-Haul (the computer system not containing the correct input), I am glad for the people at U-Haul who make it all work despite their horrible IT system.

Have inventory on hand, for the (now very common on GM trucks, SUVs) 6 blade in round to common trailer 4 flat adapter. I had to run around for 45min to get one @FF for $10.

The site suggested I could pick up truck using my phone with a 24/7 service and when I got there at 7:30am and tried to log on for the code I got a message that I needed to come back at 9am. That threw off our project! The site manager was very apologetic and friendly but it would still be good to follow up on the system there.

We had no problems with the actual pick up location of Valley Pool & Spas; our issue was with U-haul as a company. I made our reservation three weeks in advance: a smaller truck for 24 hours, from 5p on a Friday to 5p the following day (Saturday). When I received my confirmation email it said we only had the truck until noon on Saturday, so I immediately called the number provided and the gentleman I spoke with adjusted the drop off time to 5p as originally selected online and assured me that we would be able have to truck for the full 24 hours requested. Fast forward to the Friday we were to pick up, three weeks after I placed our reservation. My husband went to pick up our truck and was told that we would be getting a larger truck but that we had to have it back to the location before 3:30p on Saturday or we would be charged an additional $150. I called Valley to ask why we were getting shorted an hour and a half from our reservation; I was told that they apparently had made a reservation for our truck to be rented by someone else at 3:30p, despite our reservation lasting until 5p. I told him that was not what I had been told when I made the reservation, so once again the guy at Valley assured me that we could have the truck until our originally reserved time of 5p. Thinking that all was resolved, I soon received an extremely rude voicemail from Kevin at U-haul claiming that he had spoken to me just the day before and that I had allegedly promised to have the truck back to the drop off at Valley before 3:30 on Saturday due to this other reservation Kevin had made without our knowledgeâ€”essentially double-booking the truck. I never received a phone call or email or any other notification from Kevin or anyone else at U-haul or Valley about this change of reservation, and I called Kevin back at the phone number he provided in his voicemail to tell him so. The conversation did get heated, and I regret that, but Kevin would not listen to me and kept interrupting me. He changed his tune halfway through our conversation, from him saying he spoken with me to saying he had spoken with â€œsomeone.â€ He did not accept that he had not spoken to me even though I can provide the proof that he had not, nor would he acknowledge his error in double-booking the truck we were supposed to have until 5p Saturday. Kevin was massively unprofessional having double-booked the truck we reserved and then claiming that he had spoken to me directly about the change when he had not. I fully intend to file a complaint with Kevinâ€™s superior whom he told me is James Stewart, but that James didnâ€™t have his own phone extension to speak with directly or leave a voicemail. I would not recommend U-haul to any one because of the amount of unprofessional behavior and non communication about changes of reservations.

The truck had lights all over the dash saying fix traction control and stability control . Pulled truck into my flat front yard and because grass was wet and the truck was messed up I got stuck , only one wheel was spinning . Called roadside assistance and was told that I would have to pay for tow truck ?? the guy on phone said that the lights on dashboard didnâ€™t really matter . I was furious, after about an hour he called back and said they were sending a tow truck. A couple hours later they showed up . About 2.5-3 hours later I was able to move my pregnant daughters bedroom set . What a shitshow

Fuel gauge stated I neede to fill to over 3/4 tank. The tank only had 1/2 tank fuel when I picked it up. Wipers need replacing. Driver mirror needs to be tightened. Had to adjust about five times while driving.

I was very disappointed as I reserve a 6 x 12 trailer with confirmation and drove 4 hours to pick it and move my son and that size wasn't available. Before I booked the trailer I spoke with a representative at this location and was told, if for some reason, that size wouldn't be available I would be contacted and wasn't. Not sure if this was UHAUL's Error or the location. I would appreciate a Full Refund.
