Increase the amount of available units, specifically large trailers. It was hard to find a 6x12 in the area I wanted. Tho traveling wasn't a huge issue still it was an annoyance

I was treated great
The car hauler I rented was in poor condition. The hitch jack was seized, very difficult to use to raise and lower the hitch. The ratchet straps were installed backwards from the previous rental. This cause me over two hours of work to untangle the two straps required to tie the cars front wheels down to the car hauler. The license plate was bent and hanging on by one bolt! My previous rentals have been good. This experience was terrible and I would hope the dealers start maintaining the equipment they rent. Safety concerns are essential!

I had a 26 foot truck reserved for moving stuff today. It was suppost to be at the yard ready for me for 9:30 am. At 9:45 am I went into the office to see where the truck was and I was told my reservation disappeared. So then I asked if I could take the 10ft truck in the yard. I was told yes. So then the lady called uhaul traffic and told me that uhaul canceled my reservation without my permission. Then uhaul traffic told the lady in the office for me to go to Red Deer to grab a cargo van. The lady in the office told them that she would deal with it because she know I needed a moving TRUCK not a cargo van. So after that I got the 10ft truck and I pull up to the storage unit and there is no ramp, so I'm livid and have a bunch of heavy stuff. I got done moving at 3pm. I went by the yard and there was my 26 ft moving truck. I think uhaul should get there stuff organized and be better with customer service. I'm not happy at all with uhaul what a gong show it has been.
I understand due to coronavirus everyone needs to be more careful. But to blatantly watch my wife struggle with your trailers that do not have jacks while your representative stands there and watch's is outrageous. My wife is not strong enough and all she asked for was a little help. What would happen if my wife's back that was surgically fixed from hockey gave out? I'm pretty sure this location would be liable in some way. To make this experience even better the lady representing your business was extremely rude and Abrasive towards my wife. I don't write negative reviews often but to have employees that can't even rise to the occasion to help a customer is ridiculous and if I had that mentality I would be out of business. I know these are trying time's for everyone and I'm sure the lady in question is having a bad day, but if you don't even have blocks to chalk tires or help hitch/unhitch is completely ludicrous. The trailer I rented was clean enough, though I still need to sweep it out before using it. The trailer is quite old and tired though. The light were functional but pushed in out of their rubber mounts. The chains were too long. I had to be creative so they did not drag. And I have a tall truck. I could see daylight through the front lower corner and the floor was starting to get weak. This unit is about due to be rebuilt or retired from the fleet.
Where to start?.... The reservation was cancelled because I was at work and couldn't answer my cell phone on time. I had a confirmation email but was never informed that it was cancelled. By the time I showed up to pick up my unit, it was gone to another customer. I was â€œaccommodatedâ€ a bigger unit for the same price but it did not fit in the driveway - hence the reason I chose a smaller one in the first place - and was terrible on gas. When I picked up the vehicle, it was covered in ice and snow and I had to use my own vehicles scrapper to prepare it for my use. The paperwork showed the wrong kilometre useable and the wrong gas level - both of which were lower than what was on the sheet. The back door was so caked in ice that it took a half hour to open when I got to the location. When I finally returned the vehicle - I was told to go fill it up with more gas, even though I returned it with the amount I left with. I was also told that if here was any additional charges it would be added to my credit card. Very unprofessional overall.

Both locations I visited were great. People and employees were awesome. The only thing I can't let go is the phone staff when I phoned uhaul directly. Never. Ever again...
We didn't have the correct electrical hookup on our truck despite your online service telling us that the truck model could haul the trailer. You then charged us 10$ for a flimsy plastic adapter which should just be included in the rental.
Very unprofessional service, harrassive from the beginning. Will be finding any alternative to renting from U-Haul again. Uhaul should really consider customer care and satisfaction, as they are creating a huge market for another company to come in and take potential customers due to poor customer care. Customer representatives need to stop operating from their egos, and power tripping, and trying to pick fights with customers, there is a deep need for customer service representatives to grow up. U-Haul sucks!!! ?? ??????
When we pick up trailer service was very good ,trailer not clean,but when my husband return trailer on Sunday morning seller don't understand how much deposit he have to give back it have to be $60 he try to give $20 and my husband bring resit and sow him he still give deposit for my husband $59 not $60 ???
Have them do a walk around with customers before they leave the site with the unit. The back was not swept before I got it, a cigarette butt in the cab. And scratches that were not stickered or reported on my rental agreement. I made sure to sweep it out, and have the cab cleaned, but I doubt they fully inspected it after the last person rented it, which could come back to haunt an innocent renter if it is not taken care of and they are given the impression to leave it in the same condition they got it
The person that served us was having trouble with the sign in process.
When I picked up the trailer we forgot to do a walk-around. And we missed the light that was broken. They also did not know the location of my drop off point in British Columbia.
I ordered a 20' truck, wasnt there when I went to puck it up, had to have a 15' which made an extra trip, which lost me guys helping. Computers froze 4 times. Debit machine didnt work, had to leave and go get cash. Wasnt the best experience, caused alot of extra work on my end , 2 days moving instead of one. Guy running the place was great though
Automated system for processing rentals is atrocious and very time consuming
I was given a free 2 day extension in Ontario and when I returned the trailer before the time frame I was charged a late fee when I even produced the documents showing the free extension.... was then told i would be contacted Monday.... nothing..... just more frustration added to my completely horrific experience with uhaul
