I originally reserved a trailer at the Victor NY location and then the day before I went to go get the trailer they said they didnâ€™t have it and that the closest location that did was an hour away in irondequoit new york. Then when I get to that location they have two employees working. The one that helped me hookup the trailer couldnâ€™t even lift the trailer so I had to lift it on to the hitch. Thatâ€™s not a problem. The problem is that I have a torn meniscus in my knee and canâ€™t lift anything that heavy. Iâ€™m not sure why all of your trailers donâ€™t have jack stands on them but itâ€™s a little ridiculous. They weigh two or three thousand pounds each. Every one should have one. This is the second time Iâ€™ve used uhaul and it will be my last. Iâ€™ll pay the $1,600 for a POD or PACKRAT just so I donâ€™t have to go through that again.
I use this location 2 or 3 times a month. They are responsive to our needs and always very helpful I would recommend this location to anyone
My pick up location changed 2 days prior to the pick up date and I had to drive 40 miles round trip to pick up the trailer. I reserved this trailer 30 days prior to the pick up date and then stopped by the original location. The original location assured me the trailer would be there and ended up not.

I am sorry we rented a truck from you. We were charged with 7/8 of a tank of gas when we only had less than 3/4 of a tank. I had such a hard time adjusting the seat, I had to go back to the office. The pregnant clerk couldn't even load the dolly in the truck. Luckily I had my daughter with me to get it loaded. I would not recommend your location to anyone. There were two clerks but only one that was taking customers. The experienced one was training her. Rate me as a very dissatisfied and I have used you twice before.
The only little thing was the inside of the windshield was dirty but other than that great experience.

I was overcharged for a dolly I did not need, the clerk said she will adjust when I return. When I came back she checked in my truck, and adjusted the overcharge then closed out my transaction. I asked for a printed receipt to verify the charges, she was having a hard time and handed it off to another clerk, who then said she had to recheck in the truck for some reason, and then changed me for 4 gallons of fuel that the first clerk did not. We both verified and agreed on the 14 miles I drove, and when I asked her how I could have used 4 gallons of fuel to go 14 miles, she/he (I could not tell) proceed to get defensive with me and tell me that's what the computer is telling them. I asked her to think logically and help me understand how I could use 40 gallons of fuel to go 14 Miles (and they told be the van gets 14 miles to the gallon). They get going back to the what the computer says. I asked to speak to the person in charge. and when he came over, he was clearly annoyed with the situation and could not figure out what happened. He slammed the door on the van and then after 15 min of computer fumbling proceeding to scold me and tell me he will let me go this time but in the future (mind you there will not be at this location) I need to verify the info before I leave. I asked if he thought the clerk who check me out made an error in the gas gauge, because it would seem impossible for a van to use 4 gallons to 14 miles if it get 14 MPG. He had nothing to say and handed me my receipt and walked away. Probably not the best team of customer service individuals at this location. I would suggest you have your teams read the book 212 degrees of service by Mac Anderson to understand how to handle one on one problems.
More people on the floor maybe. I was waited on but a woman came in right after me and waited a good 15 min.
They need people that know what they are doing and more people with people skills even the manager was nasty attitude

Habia creado una reservaciÃ³n y segÃºn un representante de este local me llamarÃa a las 10am lo cual no me llamaron y cuando fuy no aparecia mi reservaciÃ³n y una de las dos muchachas que estaban en ese momento me atiende pero no me pudo ayudar y la otra media repunante me dice que no tienen nada disponible para rentar y sali del local y me dirigÃ a otro local cerca y hay el muchacho me hizo la reservaciÃ³n pero en el local que me habia hido y el muchacho me dice que es increible que me hayen negado reservaciÃ³n teniendo equipo disponible y gracias a este muchacho pude tener mi reservaciÃ³n y poder mover mi vehÃculo.
Quick, easy, courteous staff, reasonable prices
Wait time was a bit longer than expected at pickup. However, it was the first of the month...so I understand. Door on the trailer was difficult to open, but it did open. Return of the trailer was very quick and easy. All employees of the store were very helpful and friendly, just a bit understaffed at the time of pickup. However, they were all doing the best job they could.

First when a transaction is going on it shouldn't take all the employees to help unless asked. Makes it much more confusing Second have the answers this is a company that strives to gives the best rates, Be more welcoming,seems as though the customers were a problem
This store appears to be a high volume location. A few additional staff would cut down on the wait time. Agents appear to be required to clean and/or prepare vehicles while waiting on customers. The resulting congestion creates confusion and frustration. Overall, the facility was well maintained and the staff was professional and courteous.
Terrible morning having to deal with the juvenile , unprofessional manner of conducting business that uhaul seems to have if the policies they say are in place actually are in place . After using 7 miles less than the 30 I originally paid for and coming back early they charged me 8.08 for 1.9 gal worth of gas and I had just put 5 in the tank before pulling in the parking lot .They really got me over gas ,about the gas !! Would recommend to anyone!! The people inside weee very friendly and â€œinformative â€œ but he did try to put some words in my mouth . And I strongly feel it should not be the customers job to make sure the property THEY OWN before leases out is correct to their standards and system understanding. If it is itâ€™s a poor system.
I would recommend uhaul solely because you offer an affordable service. Our trailer was full of grease and oil stains blankets, the floor was covered in them as well and I had to clean everything in freezing temps because we were moving furniture.
Customer service was lovely.
Check the brakes. They squeaked horribly.
I donâ€™t think itâ€™s really fair for me to rate this specific location. They really did their best to get things right. For somebody who rents from U-Haul quite a bit, I clearly see the problems with the overall organization and the system. There is no significant competition in this space, so I donâ€™t think the corporation is really doing what they need to do to ensure excellence in the customers experience.
