Don't charge a cleaning fee for a clean uhaul, this is the first time I've ever been charged that. I was also charged for 2 gallons of fuel. And it was brought back at the same level it left with. This old man is shady.

To start, we have filed complaints thru 1-800-GO-UHAUL.. from the time we got home with the 26 ft truck that ended up having no air conditioning in 100 degree weather and calling your vendor to let them know.. they said call the 1-800 #.. we did. They were wonderful! Kathleen in breakdown followed through wonderfully. She suggested a few options. The one if having a repair person we could not do.. on timeline and back forth moving there was no time. But option to call back the vendor requesting a concession. Was told he canâ€™t do that. We asked for a manager.. said not there, would not give his name or the managers. Decided to wait until after 4th of July while we still had the truck on that day and call July 5th in the AM when we assumed them to be open. And the day we are to drop the truck. They were closed. We dropped the truck and filed our final complaint through corporate and they said any concession would come though from the vendors manager with a follow up call to me. As of today, Sat July 6th we have not heard anything. We moved for 2 days in 100 degree weather 100% humidity and no A/C in the moving truck. Somehow we should have received some effort from the vendor. He was rude from the minute we got there to the time we left with the truck and when looking for assistance with this issue was rude, not helpful nor could careless regarding the situation.. Frankly, we will never go back there again and they will be getting a write up on Google from me. Corporate was great but this vendor lacks any great representation of U-Haul.
We were lied to, given a broken truck, had poor communication AND had my husband's wallet stolen by an employee when we returned the truck. We were promised a certain price that was not honored. It has been a TERRIBLE experience and no one has been willing to help.
The mileage you allow from Jacksonville to Tampa is not enough. This is Twice that I was over our place in Jacksonville is on St. Johnâ€™s bluff same at rental pick 5 minutes away and drop off is 8 minutes away. We came straight to location.
I left the trailer with clerk and did not get refund, I DID NOT USE THE TRAILER BECAUSE HAD ISSUES WITH TRUCK, NEED THE REFUND, CLERK DID NOT TAKE NOTE WHEN LEAVE THE TRAILER IN THEIR FACILITY.
This location is trashy. The gentleman tried to tell me my rental was for a 10 foot truck when it was for the 26 foot truck. Also the truck was not in service until 10 because it was getting the bent tire repaired from the prior rental. So it was not ready at 9 am. The gas on my documents was said to be 3/4 however when we got to the truck it was actually 1/4 and he said he would fix it in the system. Yesterday I got my invoice and a $60 truck rental turned into $125 because he clearly didnâ€™t amend the mileage in the system and i paid for someone elseâ€™s mistake.
I was charged an additional for $45 for no reason...I returned the truck clean and gas filled above what I took.
Was not customer friendly at all. Never said hi. The place looked awful. Would suggest Uhaul pay a visit to this location. Would suggest they start with "Welcome how can I help you".
One of the brake lights didnt work when I picked up the dolly from the first location. When I went back in to building to let the gentleman know, he said he couldn't do anything and I need to take it to another location to get it fixed. The second pick up location I went to was fine. A little slow but the gentleman that helped me was nice and polite.
After hours self-check in was fairly straightforward. I was concerned about leaving the equipment I rented in the back of the truck without a lock. Fortunately it was just blankets that I was able to leave in the front of the cab.
I will never ever use uHaul again. I made a reservation at 89565, did the online checkin for a speedy process because my condo only allowed a 4 hour window for my move in. Showed up the location one to find out that they didnâ€™t have any trucks for me. I asked the person if there was anything he could do, he said no. I asked if he could call another location, he said no. I rushed out of there to another location (Beach blv. And South Side) a lady there was able to call the local manager to find me a truck. At this point Iâ€™m 3 hours late to my move window. Showed up to the other location, which was extremely unsafe, although the guy there was nice, the computer system was down so it took me 40 minutes to get out of there. Half way home, I noticed the truck did not contain the dolly I paid for, so I called the lady at the second location I went to, Who was very helpful, asked me to come by and get a dolly. Overall, uHalu has turned into the McDonalds/ Walmart of truck renting. The people they allow to be dealers are extremely unprofessional. Overall I will tell all my friends not to use uHaul. Iâ€™m still stuck paying $100 bill after having to drive around for 5 hours for uHaul.
it was an empty lot with several buildings around. i had to wander around for a while to find the drop off box at a building across the road.

There were no signage as to what entrance to use to drop off the truck. I missed the entrance on the first try. The only way I knew where to drop off the truck was because the car dealership next door directed me to the location.
I rented a 15' truck for approximately 2 hours to move a piano. When I returned the truck the agent was eating lunch so we did not inspect the truck together. When I received my final bill, via email, a $25 clean up fee was added to my bill. I left no dirt, debris, or equipment in the truck. I simply rolled the piano onto the truck and rolled it off. Total trip was 16 miles. This is outrageous and probably the most blatant attempt at a money grab I have ever experienced. I will never rent from this location again. Nor recommend anyone I know to this store.
Had to use larger truck then ordered with no lock on it. All of my electronics were stolen. Plus cost much more in gas very upset cost me about 5k in personal loss never again
Very accommodating and even though he did not have some of the equipment/pads that were originally requested (as no one had brought any in) He did attempt to call a few other UHaul locations to locate some. Adjusted the bill to reflect not included.
The location was filthy and I needed other supplies to do my move and nothing was available. The truck right rareview mirror was spinning around while I was heading to Kissimmee. It took me longer to get to my destination than usual. I had to stay in the right lane all the time.. it was a dangerous situation.
We will use u-haul again for such good service
Uhaul sent me to a location that was already closed, rescheduled me last minute to this location. Instruction pamphlet given was in French!! Luckily there were no incidents which required me using the instructions.
I was misinformed as to the protocol for changing my reservation from single location to a one way trip. Due to this misinformation, I incurred a second charge for all services rendered. I was very disappointed not so much with the guys info, honest mistakes can happen, but rather with the woman I spoke with who heads that particular division. She was extremely unhelpful and borderline unprofessional.
