Another u haul place fell through for us and Jones River came through! My reservation needed to be longer and Steve was so reassuring and fixed the problem right away. They were so accomodating and friendly would highly recommend them. Uhaul was clean ready when needed.

I originally chose another location near to my house with ample inventory of blankets and hand trucks. Uhaul's Regional Traffic Office in Abington, MA asked me to switch to this location. I agreed to switch to the new pickup location despite an hour of inconvenience. I ordered many moving blankets but the Jones River Storage location was only able to provide about a third of what I ordered - and NO furniture dolly. I had to go to another nearby Uhaul center to pick up the blankets I need - that was an hour of inconvenience for me.

I had a lousy experience for a few reasons. The people working at this location were fine. They seemed to have been totally screwed over by U-Haul's reservation and truck management system. After making the reservation, I received a call saying they wouldn't get the truck Saturday at 9am, but would need to wait until 1:30. I asked if I could get a larger truck or something to make 9am work, but they said no. The excuse was that it was the end of the month, and it's busy. This happens every month, then? The business is helping people move at the end of the month. On the day of the pickup, I showed up at 1:30 crunched for time. The person at the desk said they had said 2:30. I had to wait at the location until 3 before rushing home and frantically packing the truck from my apartment. The next day I realized my contract said I had to return the truck at 9am on Monday, despite having paid for a 48 hour rental. It should have been due at 2:30. So I drove an hour and a half to return it Sunday night rather than through rush hour traffic the next morning. I then struggled to get the in-browser or U-Haul app to accept a photo of the truck's odometer and fuel gauge for an hour. I went on text chat with someone to explain my problem. After working with through some possible simple problems, the conversation was automatically ended after *3 minutes* of inactivity while I worked on the app. I had to start another conversation and restart my explanation from the beginning with a new person. Eventually I had to email my photograph from my phone to this person's work email. I then got to drive back to my new town. What an awful time!

I originally scheduled a pick up at the Standard Repair location in Plymouth via the UHaul APP. When I arrived my app was telling me that my rental was never authorized by the location. Horrible. Had to waste couple hours dealing with that. Thankfully the good people at the Kingston location know what they're doing.

The person I originally spoke with did not tell me the place would be closed the day / time I was to pick up the van. Another person phoned me, and I was able to pick up the van. He apologized that the van was dirty - it was had not been swept out. That said, it all worked out and the person who helped me pick up the van was nice.

Rented UHAUL went 10 miles down road realized we didn’t need it. Returned within 40 minutes, un used. Won’t refund me or just let me pay for mileage. Should have kept the truck all day and got my money worth. Poor management and customer service skills.

The manager was quite pleasant...but not present when I arrived. So I was delayed approximately one hour between the time I arrived at the outlet and the time I was handed the keys to the truck. Also, the truck was virtually empty of gas. I don't feel I should have been charged extra for dropping the truck in Pocasset. I had a reservation to pick up a 26-ft. truck in Hingham, MA. At the last minute, I was told no 26-ft. truck would be available.there and that I would have to pick up in Kingston if I wanted a 26-ft. truck. I hope U-Haul will refund the charge for returning to Pocasset, not Kingston, which was out of my way.

24 hour pickup didn't work. Neither did the 24 hour return. The truck was dirty and had some trash in it. The agent was very nice. Actually I liked dealing with him. But, he or anybody else wasn't available when I dropped off or picked up. With that said, he is a very nice guy but must be busy. I can't imaging a more confusing pickup or drop off app. It could be communicated much better. And, I am tech savvy.
