I dropped off my rental around 7pm October 27th. Saw a double charge on my statement talked to customer service. They said my rental wasn’t received till 9:30 am OCT29th. Which is inaccurate. Would like this to be corrected. I’m sure I’m seen on camera dropping my rental off 7PM OCT27th.

The truck was old and drove like crap. And the directions weren’t entirely clear on the website, in terms of dropping off the truck and in terms of returning it. To elaborate, when booking the reservation online it was not made blatant that I would have to drop the U-Haul off at the same location. Also, the return part of the experience was lackluster. I got charged an extra $50 because I didn’t know how the return worked and it wasn’t explained very clearly when I picked up the truck.

Poor communication will never use uhaul again the estimated charge was taken from bank account then actual charges taken now I have to wait 3 to5 days for my money from estimated charges to be available $4.86 was difference unhappy with this never again

I returned this truck on a Sunday. This place is closed on Sundays so I had to do my return online. My phone would not allow me to share my location even though it was on. Thankfully there was someone else with me and their phone allowed it so I was able to complete the transaction.

Along with the truck rental,I also rented 12 moving pads,(two bundles of six )because I was not sure how many pads I would need.It turns out I only used six pads and returned one bundle unopened but was told I would still be charged for the unopened bundle because I took it with me.This seemed unfair and unbusinesslike to me.

The Kingston location was great, and very helpful. I was disappointed in U Haul after getting a call at 8:55 AM for a 9:00 AM pick up, that the 10' truck I reserved was not there. I was told my only options were a 9'cargo van at my original pick up location or drive 40 minutes away to pick up the truck, but not till 4:00 PM. Seriously?? How does that benefit me in any way? So I had to go with the cargo van and rely on personal vehicles to get the job done. Very disappointed with this experience and if it weren't for the people in Kingston being so nice and accommodating, I would never probably never use U haul again.

First the retailer and I both did a Google search on how many miles I was going to be driving and he said the absolute most it was going to cost me was $50 after he charged my card $42 and change. Well when I woke up the next morning and checked my account and additional $72 was charged to my card on top of the previous $42. When I called a spoke to the lady linda I believe her name was she told me that there was a mistake on the gas usage because they charged me for gas they did not even put into the vehicle yet. Gas that did not need to have been applied because I had put gas into the vehicle at the shell gas station about 3 miles down the road from where I had rented the truck. The lady on the phone Said I should have been charged $91 not $115. Which even that is still to high from what was originally calculated. I have not received the detailed receipt that was supposed to be emailed to me, I have not received any return phone call and I have not received the refund I was promised. I am extremely dissatisfied. Not will i never use uhaul again but I will certainly be sure to make it biblically known that thus place will go out of their way to manipulate their reports to take more money out of people accounts then agreed.

Give me a way to get into the truck bed to sweep it out. I was charged an unnecessary $30.00 cleaning fee because they would not let me use a chair to step on to get up there to sweep it out. I brought my own broom and swept out the cab! Liability, they said.

I had a big problem with uhaul. I called the Kingston location and was transferred to the calling center. They couldn’t find me a truck. Then they made them give them my credit card and they would contact me where to pick up truck. They had me scedhuled to pick it up 3 hours from my house. After I declined that they scheduled me in Kingston. Very nice location and nice people. Not there fault. My reservation was incorrect. I was over charged from what I was originally quoted. At this point I will never use a uhaul again and never recommend the company
