Only a couple of issues with the truck. It needed new wiper blades. The current ones were leaving a lot of skip marks and it probably needs an alignment soon. It pulls to the right slightly.

Online times to rent a truck were available that weren’t available with our location which caused them to change the pick up time automatically for us which we didn’t appreciate. We chose the time based on what we needed, if it wasn’t available it shouldn’t have been able to be selected. We selected 7 am and they changed to 7:30 because the store says no trucks can be picked up at 7 because that’s when they open. Then why could a truck be selected to pick up at 6 even? It could be better adjusted for each store to keep from confusing customers.

I was very pleased with all the young man that took care of me. I use U-Haul fairly often, my only question is why don't you honor veterans with a discount? Many retailers do, usually 10%, this shows you care about those who served. We honor our country and continue to preserve the constitutional rights of all Americans. I will continue to recommend you as your service it means a lot to those of us who move often without notice. As we are, U-Haul, serves many and for that I thank you.

Had made a reservation over a month ago. Received a call the morning of the move about an hour before I was to pick up. they call & said they did not have the 26ft truck. This was only day I had help to move. Looked at other locations but no lrg truck available. Finally a customer was to bring back truck @ noon but I was at the u haul store & it wasn’t there at noon. Asked that the call customer to see when he would have it back. Waited another hr for it to be returned & cleaned. At 1:00 the truck was available. They are to give me a $50.00 credit. But haven’t seen any money as of yet.

Employees were polite and willing to help. The only very minor issue was when returning the truck there wasn’t any employee in the building. After calling on the radio twice they arrived from outside and and made it a quick return. They were with another customer when I called. Thank you for a pleasant experience and I will be using you again when the need comes up!

The people working weren’t the friendliest. I was told very rudely that I had to refuel it (when it was just (BARELY) below my fuel line or else I would be charged. Also there was a guy who was checking out the vehicle before we took it, and we just handed him our papers, he didn’t say a word to us, not hi, how are you, nothing. We’ve never done this before so we were so nervous and to have someone who acted like they didn’t want to have us there was very offputting and made us feel very unwelcome. When we returned it someone got in and checked it and then had us get in a check it and after we got in(I had walked away to find my ride) I got in and smelled so badly of marijuana.

This was a different than original pick up location. It was chosen for me to pick up a truck to move to another part of the country as a part of our move. Easy to find while we were traveling to Indianapolis.

There was a mistake made. The wrong truck was sent out that was supposed to be our truck. The staff worked quickly to rectify the error.

I returned the truck in 3 hours just before the 7pm closing time. when I we did the pre-check for mileage and gas level, the truck was not running but rather the key was in the position to show the digital information as well as the the gas level. It did show the level of gas being on the full mark. The documentation was marked as such. However, when I pulled away the gas gauge needle immediately dropped slightly off the mark. I didn't think to much about it. When I returned the truck after completing my move. I had gone a grand total of 4 miles, yes 4 miles and during the post usage inspection I was told I would need to pay a gas fee of $8.50 for gas usage. I tried to reason with the employee that there is no way I used that amount of gas for a 4 mile round trip. He would not even entertain the thought. I jumped in the truck and drove the truck a quarter mile to get gas. I filled the truck to bring the gas needle to where it showed it directly on the F for full. I returned the truck to the designated spot and saw the employees entering the building, but it was 10 min past 7 and they would not come back out. I left the truck. I still do not know my charges, but it should be 29.95 plus 4.5 miles(.79 per mi) plus tax. I also thought the truck rental was for 24 hrs, but they acted as though I needed to return the vehicle by closing or before they opened the next morning. If a renter of one of your units says that he/she would like to look over the vehicle before using it, it would be helpful if your attendant would offer to help check all the lights including the brake lights before taking the truck. That would be helpful and courteous!

I generally found the experience positive, but found the truck to have unsettling vibrations at low and higher speeds and I noticed a hissing sound with braking. I reported these to the check-in consultant when I returned the equipment but found the truck did provide adequate service to meet my needs.
