Love the new location. Much larger and clean. The old location was a run down wood shack essentially. This new facility is very roomy and looks very professional. Will continue using U-Haul and recommend to my friends.JEFFERY A.

First of all when you call this facility it goes to a voicemail anytime during business hours that says â€œwe are very busy - call again another time, goodbye.â€ And then rings and rings and no-one picks up. I tried calling 4 times and got this over 2 days. Next, when I rented the van - I asked the general manager (Phillip) who assisted me with the rental how I could do an four drop. Phillip said to â€œgo online and login and it would explain how to do that.â€ I returned my van 4 hours after I got it and the office was already closed so I tried to do a night drop. I couldn't log into my account however as it was saying my password or Userid were not valid. I didn't have access to my email to reset my password. So I walked around the side of the building after parking my van up front and saw a drop box on the wall. I tried to open the lid but it wouldn't open. I saw a lock on it with a combo and figured one needed to login online to get the combo and I couldn't do that. So I left with the key and planned on calling g the next day to explain. However, calling was no good as it went to the above voicemail and endless ringing. I live in laguna beach (16 miles from the Uhaul) and wasn't able to get over and drop the key off due to Mother's Day activities with family in Laguna. So I drove over there at 8:45am the next day to drop off the key. Phillip knew where the van was parked in front of their store and walked right over to it. Checked it out and then informed me he would be charging me for the additional days. I told him of my issues with returning and his response was â€œlook it's easy to open the lock boxâ€ and he pushed open the top. I tried it again and realized it has a strong magnet on it and one really needs to push up hard to open it. I explained this to Phillip and he said â€œwe can check to see if you attempted to login to your account and I'm willing to not charge you the extra days.â€ I then said that I did ask him before I left how to do a drop key and he just said â€œlook that up onlineâ€ and could have walked me out there and showed me the lockbox as no-one was behind me in line - or just simply said - â€œput the key in the lock box and note there is a magnet so it's a little hard to open.â€ Phillip then seemed to get annoyed at me for questioning his actions and said that I was now â€œyellingâ€ at him and that he would not give me a refund of the extra days because I was yelling at him. He proceeded to walk inside the building and went back to his desk. I followed him and asked for his name while filming him as he didn't have a name tag on. All in all, I have rented from Uhaul for almost 3 decades and I have never ever had an experience like this one at this office. Will look at other options for rentals now. So suprised this person is a manager of a store.GEOFFREY D.

Fix the F#%*ing phone. I was trying to get in contact with the location but kept getting a message that they are having issues or they were busy. This lasted for the length of my rental. I spoke to the guy when I returned where I told him I have been trying to get in touch with u all and he then said OUR PHINES DONT WORK. I said that is lame. I should have called the corporate line and they would get the message to them. I said how would they do that. His reply was they'd call us. I said how would they do that if your PHONES DONT WORK. He then said by email. That's a good one by time they got the email it would be too late. Oh I also said I didn't want the hand truck or blankets. When I got home I saw they were attached inside. Stupid crap took over space I need to put my stuff I . Didn't want to get charged if I moved it. Tried calling to tell them but PHONES DIDNT WORK.David B.

Returned appliance dolly same day. My husband wheeled it in and an employee told him to leave it and a few days Later - I get an email stating that it was not returned. I had to waste nearly 30 minutes calling and explaining to rude people that it was returned the same day. Very disappointing for a $10 dolly rentalCYNTHIA A.

My Experience with this U-Haul location was very good however the after hours return process took forever because It kept wanting more and more things and asking questions and after a long hard day of moving the last thing you wanna do is answer a million questions and take pictures and reanswer the same questions over and over and over again so my only complaint is the after hours return processGIGI G.
