I was charged for fuel when I returned the truck the same amount of gas I rented it with. I literally only used 6 miles and was charged for 4 gallons of gas. A total rip off.

Uhaul should notify customers ahead of their scheduled appointment that the self pickup process can take upwards of 20 minutes to complete. Especially when this service is packaged with moving services that charge by the hour. The app is terrible and forces you to download it but wasn’t working. And after talking to two customer service people I was told you don’t actually need the app it’s just a bait & switch to get downloads and setup accounts. I would never recommend this service to anyone without caution or without using a location that has reps on site to ease the process. Luckily the moving company was flexible and courteous.
