The 10' truck that we rented was in poor shape. Over 89,000 miles, dented bumper. We were very wary of the vehicle's safety. The worst part was the driver getting water constantly pouring down his neck while driving in the rain for an entire hour. The wipers performed poorly. The defrost worked poorly. When Taylor Rental was told about all this, their response was: "There is nothing I can do and if you call UHaul they will do nothing." He did say that he will remove the truck from the fleet based on my notification. I am presently on hold with UHaul to notify them and am anxious to see if Taylor Rental's prediction is correct. Sure hope not!!!

Clean the windshield, inside and out! It was very dirty. Wash out the inside of the main area, it was very sticky. (where we put our belongings was sticky..)

Make sure that the milage and the fuel reading are accurate, I always take a pic of the actual reading when I drop off the truck and for the first time I was charge a fuel fee even though I explain then that when I dropped the vehicle at there location it had the same amount of gas that when I picked up.

The interior of the van had a strong odor. I'm not sure if it was coming from mildew in the A/C system or whether it was from something that had been carried in the van by the previous renter. The odor was so strong that it permeated my clothes and the packing blankets I used.

Made a one way reservation 2 weeks in advance for p/u in Lowell, MA. The day before pick up i received an email that i had to p/u the truck in Lawrence, MA. The girl on the phone in lowell was NOT helpful at all. She always referred me to the 800 number. I did p/u the truck in Lawrence because i had made arrangements with my help. Next time pls give me more notice. the day before before

James was the ultimate in a customer service associate. He was not only compassionate to my situation but was also accommodating to make our move go as well as possible despite a health issue that I experienced. He was patient, friendly and knowledgeable about his job. He has us in and out in minutes. I will definitely use that location again and will especially look for James to take care of us. 1. Please have someone to make sure that all the accessory/equipments that customer requested are inside truck OR let customer check them (I'm asking as the guys was in hurry to to push truck out and go to next customer may be - so I didn't check that the dolly I requested is inside truck or not. I had to drive back missing item). 2. When a customer returns truck, please do check fuel gage for tank-full (instead of assuming its full and having next customer to pay for someone else' fuel ). Asking as I drove truck for 16 miles and when I went for refill, I had to put more than 3 gallos of gas (insane for 16 miles. Correct?) 3. Overall, have someone to check email/request sent using "contact form". (I submitted a request two days back snd still have't heard anything from CSRs)

Truck was reserved online and at pick up, it took about 15-20 minutes. Thought it would be quicker since everything was done online.

this location needs training! Its a party store, renting trucks. No one has any idea of whats going on, customer service was poor and that's being nice. I had to stand over the shoulder of the person confirming my corporate reservation and walk him through the screen questions. he told me he didn't know how to do it!! Never Again

personal contact have to have 2 telephone line? He asked me like i have to have 2 phone lines. he said you have problem call them (Uhaul) and do not ask him???

I was charged for a dolly I did not receive. I called immediately when I got to my location to move to inform them. After returning the truck i received my bill that I was still being charged for the dolly I never got. He stated he would remove from my account. I then got a new receipt and was not being charged for 2 dolly's as well as furniture pads I never requested or received. I also received paperwork stating that there was over half a tank of gas. I did not notice there was less than half a tank until I arrived to my location 3 miles away. Upon return, i had filled it up to half a tank. I was charged for the extra gas I never had. I will be moving again in a year, as well as another family member and a close friend. I have no intention of ever using this service ever again and I will make sure they don't use it either. What a disappointment.

No issues at all with the pick up and return. However your process of not telling meuntil the day before I move if there is a truck available is unacceptable. you can't be serious that this is how you run your business. I had people coming to help me move and on Friday morning the day before I move no truck had been given to me, I had to call in once again to get in touch with the scheduler to finally get a truck assigned to me...pathetic. Next time I'm going to use Pensky or Budget. Again the pick up and drop of people/process was not the issue.

Custmer service was great..i would rent again.. Had to keep the 26ft.. For a week.. Was only to be be for two days.. But the closing got postponed.. They understood...??????
