Get them to check truck for equipment that was supposed to be there. Had to clean hauling area as it was dusty..equipment not provided but was ordered were furniture dolly and wheeler. Was not charged when truck was returned thank goodness..
Allen WThe driver's side mirror was very poor and was hard to see out of. The inside of the truck had ashes from someone smoking inside it and it smelled bad.
Lisa SThe lack of communication between the U-Haul phone attendant and the actual location staff was poor. U-Haul sent a message changing my pick up time from 8am to 11am. This was not what I had chosen and would make me late to my destination. I called and spoke to a U-Haul representative who changed the pick up time back to 8am. However, when I arrived in Leader to pick up the truck, there was no lock box with keys waiting and it ended up taking nearly an hour to get the truck. Luckily, there was a lovely Esso employee there who helped me get the truck.
Nicole AThey did not have the equipment I ordered, they did not have a trolley, or my size of truck. Instead of giving me a 26’ truck they gave me a 15’ truck and a 6’ trailer and charged me the same amount, also did not want to help hook up the trailer that I didn’t book. Would not release the U-Haul to me at my booked time of 0900 either. I did not get it till almost noon. Then the trailers lights did not work, so they had to give me a different trailer. In the new contract they selected a different drop off location for the trailer than what was booked for the truck. I’m still not even sure if I was charge for a trolley as I cannot access the contract online.
