This is the 2nd time that the owner, Mr. Earl, was verbally rude and very disrespectful, telling us in front of other customers that he had no time for us, to assist us!! How embarrassing! Then he called over one of his kids to come and help us, and it took half an hour for him to try and figure it out. We had already completed everything online ahead of time, as requested, to fill it out online. Even though our receipt specified Earl's Bike Shop, we were told there that it was at another place in Lewisburg. Something about a wrong routing number. We were there waiting for about 45 minutes because, "I have no time for this!" This is what he stated to my son, who was trying to show him that it specified Earl's Bike Shop. If he doesn't want to service your customers, he should get out of this business. This has happened before with one of my relatives. We waited for over 30 minutes for them to work on our paperwork. He is too busy with his bike sales to accommodate us. My son and I were both very embarrassed and frustrated as to how we were treated. He also has all of his young children there working--children too young to be working in a repair shop. It was one of his sons who tried to help us, because the father told him to. Take this business away from him. He is rude, and is giving uHaul a very bad name.Angel S.

No one was wearing a mask in the facility; children of the owners were crying and screaming making everyone in the space vulnerable to infections. The â€œcontact lessâ€ interaction is a joke since customers have to eventually go inside to pick up the keys and wait inside the environment where no one is wearing a mask.Shahram A.
I had some very serious issues using your website. It is not user friendly and when we returned the UHaul I absolutely could not do it online. Thank goodness the people who work for you are better than your site and customer service (I waited 15 minutes on hold and gave up). Nothing at all to do with Earl's, I have known him for a while and he has an awesome location and is great to work with. He was closed on the day I picked up my truck but still answered my frantic texts. Long story short I input my information on the app (which is not the greatest with several "no network available" warnings and I had full cell service) and then had UHaul call my wife. She answered and verified that I was getting the truck but apparently that wasn't good enough because it didn't go through. So then I put my dads information, they called and he answered and verified me again. Still didnt go through. I HAD TO DRIVE BACK HOME to take a picture of my lease to finally be approved. And what makes it even worse is that another guy was there, his wife didn't even answer her phone and he was instantly approved. My chat person was Beatriz and hopefully you guys sort out what happened because if y'all weren't the most available option I would definitely be looking into others.Patrick A.
Hello, I was not impressed with the U-Haul experience, though I am not necessarily blaming Earl's bike shop. I opted for the option of online check-in, hoping for an experience that I could practice social distancing and be safe from Covid. My impression from the advertising was online checking was quick, but this is wrong. I took my picture and my ID picture and then waited 25 minutes as it was being verified. I was becoming late to meet the crew that was helping me move. I had to go into the store where the employees were not wearing masks to ask for help which is what I was hoping not to do in the first place. They agreed that it was taking longer than was professional and called people to see what they could do. They mentioned it was being monitored by a real live person and sometimes can take a long time. While they were making the phone call the face and driver's license was verified. BUT my whole picking up by "online on my phone" took 50 minutes where I could have done that in person much faster. On top of that, I had ordered a utility dolly and appliance dolly. The utility dolly was not in the back of the truck. I left, moved our house, came back to return the truck and saw a U-haul utility dolly near a barn on the property near some bikes. I did not recall if it was there in the morning, but wouldn't feel comfortable with taking a dolly that wasn't on/right next to the truck. I moved fine without the utility dolly but do not appreciate being charged for it. I will warn others against this U-Haul service because of my bad experience. I would appreciate a refund because of the lack of reliable, Covid-safe service and the lack of the dolly that I had paid for.Stephen I.
The uhaul was very old and part way through the trip we noticed the two back tires were bald. This could had been very dangerous since we were traveling 1300 miles.Steve B.

Well. Even though I signed into online Uhaul site and selected the Shamokin Dam location, I was assigned a pick up in Lewisburg which is 25 minutes away. I showed up at Shamokin Dam. My fault I guess for not reading carefully enough on the final contract. I was told my reservation for a 5 by 8 trailer is in Lewisburg. I said could I get it here instead. He said they didn't have one but could do a 6 by 12 for the same price. I said great lets do it. He called to Lewisburg to make the reservation switch and they argued the switch and refused. i would have even paid the extra $10 to avoid driving to Lewisburg. They still wouldn't approve the switch. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction? Just lost my future business.David F.

Before returning I added 4.5 gal gasoline to fill tank but miles driven was only 27 miles. This means that gas tank was not filled when I picked up. I left voice and text messages to facility asking for partial refund for gasoline. They have not responded. This is bad business.Thomas D.
