Engine light came on. I was stuck half in the road and half in a persons driveway. I went on line and waited for a response thru chat and was told to call an 877 number. In doing so, I was given repeated messages to go on line. Lost time and much frustration. Since I returned after hours, I left a note in this regard asking for some compensation of which I had no response.

I made my reservation at a closer location, and then showed up the day of my reservation (Saturday at 9:45 a.m.) and they were closed for the day due to the holiday season. I was confused that U-Haul didn't hold to the $50 credit that they advertise when equipment isn't available as reserved, but they did coordinate for another location for, resulting in only a 45-50 minute delay.

People claiming to be employees of the drop-off location called me after pickup wanting the combination to the pad lock on the back of the truck, which was provided to me by U-haul. When I asked them to speak with U-haul's personnel, they became irate and threatened me with fines. Seems sketchy. Parking was inadequate and poorly lit.

Someone should be there to help with hitch attaching and wiring. My wife and I are experienced but I can see not having someone available to assist someone in-experienced would be a bad customer experience. We have noticed this more and more with various U-Haul trailer rental locations.
