I had no advance notice that the drop off location was an untended parking lot. No information on my contract except for an address and phone number. When I arrived at the address there was no U-Haul signage, only a gravel parking lot with several U-Haul trailers parked and a small sheet metal building (shed). I attempted to call the phone number provided, only to get to voice mail and was then informed that the voice mailbox was full. Then I checked my U-haul account, opened my order and was lead through a step by step process to return the trailer. However a lot of time was wasted that could have been prevented if U-Haul informed me in advance what to expect. There is a clear opportunity for improvement here.

The owner showed up just as I was completing the process of dropping the unit off. He had not been informed of an arrival unit. The business was very new and non of his units where listed as available by uhaul as of yet. I think the attitude and business is going to do well once it is fully established.
