It would be nice if they had standard sizes of tow balls/mounts available on site to sell. We had a non-standard size that did not work with the trailer we reserved. We were directed to a local store, but the person did not know for certain if they would have what we needed. Fortunately, they did, but this caused an unexpected delay.

The staff here is excellent to work with. The online reservation system is really terrible and kept changing our pickup location and time. We called the national (corporate) help number received wrong information (after being transferred several times.) We went to this local store, and they helped us get everything sorted out.

Leo, the employee is incredible. This guy does a remarkable job to help you. The problem with this location is that whoever is in charge of sending trucks to locations has not got a clue as to what is going on. I rent u-hauls for my business several times a year. I make reservations well in advance and most of the time the truck I order is not there. I usually get a call from home base telling me the truck is not available in the size I need and they try to change me to another truck. When I order a certain size truck, it is for a reason. Upgrading me to a larger truck does not help me if I can't get it into a location. As far as trying to put me into a smaller truck, i might as well just use my pickup. You would think that 2 weeks notice would give plenty of time to deliver the right truck. I would say this happens to me 3 out of 4 times.

Actually have an employee that knows what they are doing behind the counter and get a person going on their scheduled reservation time. I was personally held up for 30 min or so waiting for the employee to get me on my way. Upon returning my equipment I had to have a bogus excess charge that was being applied on my rental removed after having to hunt down the employee from who knows where by the convenient store manager.

The uhaul employee at the SW Hwy 101 location didn't tighten the tongue on the truck hitch, when driving my vehicle onto vehicle transport the trailer came apart. Luckily I wad at the SW Hwy 101 location and the employee at this location helped me correct the issue.

Rented an auto-transport trailer for a 2300 mile trip from Indiana to Oregon. Very concerned that no spare tire is provided. The policy that you must call an 800 UHaul number and wait for a service tech to come out to you is ludicrous. Much of I-80 is miles from towns, most of which are small towns. When I made two attempts to call regarding another question wait times for an agent exceeded 20 minutes. How about improving that weak area of customer service.

Not much - it was simple and seamless. Only issue I had was when calling the location to notify about the turn in, the phone number I reached was probably a joint fax/phone line and the fax was turned on. So I couldn't coordinate the return ahead of time. Turned out to be a non-issue however. When I arrived there, the young man who worked the U-Haul part of the fuel station business identified himself and took charge to help me drop and be gone within minutes. Nice work, many thanks!

These guys were fine but had to drive 120 miles to get a ball put on car. Also they had me signed up for two trailers and a truck to beginning n with. Had to call 800 number to fix it.

I was told that the moving van was full of gas when I picked it up and that I should return it full of gas. He stressed that several times in fact. So, I filled the van with gas after moving and it took 4.5 gallons to fill it. My total miles for the moving trip was 13.2. The MPG comes out to about 2.93 miles per gallon. Similar trucks that I have rented in the past are usually 8 to 10 MPG. So, the full tank was not full. Not sure I can trust this dealer again. And it is at a gas station as well so topping the tank off would have been very easy for them.

I really did not expect finding 4 brand new tires on the 6 x 12 trailer we rented. It made for a worry free, pleasant tow.

Key wouldn't unlock drivers door. Online truck return process didn't work (website error). Employee said he would "return" the truck in the system manually but that didn't happen until the next day (apparently), and I was charged for pads and a dolly even though I didn't use them (there were no zip ties on either when I picked the truck up). Overall poor experience.

Although original rental reservation was not ready as scheduled both regional office and Leo at ARE Shell were extremely helpful and cooperative in getting me a truck the next day.

They did not have the 26’ truck I reserved and I was forced to take a 15’ truck. All of my belongings did not fit in the truck requiring me to make two 80 mike one way trips instead of the one I was planning on. My overall experience with uhaul during my move was horrible. I was in tears just trying to find a truck to reserve and spent over an hour on the phone trying to do that and then to not have the truck on the day of was beyond frustrating.

I was disappointed and surprised that the truck did not have A/C. The drive down from Oregon into Southern California was very uncomfortable without A/C. I thought all U-Haul trucks had A/C.
