When I was doing paperwork at pick up location, girl didnt really know what she was doing. 1. Got me to sign that gas fuel was where it was. It was not. However, I did not take a pic so its my word against hers. It was at 1/2 tank at best!!! 2. Truck cab was so dirty, coffee dried and spilled everywhere. Was not clean at all. 3. Uhaul rep actually said: oh man, I would never rent from uhaul, I have heard horror stories about people's experiences renting these trucks. 4. Actually told me: I dont think I have ever checked a truck when it comes back. IE: for cleanliness, damage, fuel etc.... I couldnt believe she was telling me this stuff. I have used Uhaul many times but after this I will not. And I will not recommend. Ever. The fuel thing is the most frustrating. I feel I got ripped off. But my bad, I didnt take a pic. It would be nice to get discounted somehow. Please I would like a response.

We had rented a 20ft truck and I confirmed pickup for 12 noon on November 1st, as that was the day we had to move out of our apartment. We arrived at noon to pick up the truck but it had not yet been returned from the previous customer who was scheduled to bring it back at 10am. We waited nearly 4hrs for the truck to arrive and we paid the $100 and carried on to moving, scheduled to bring the truck back at 1pm November 2nd to the same location. While paying I had asked if the refund of money would need to be put on the same card or if cash was able to be given in return (my mom paid for the truck while she was in town but wouldn’t be in town the following day when we had to return it) and I was told it could be

Horrible service from this dealer. Over charged me and changed my times with out asking then charged me because I had not returned it for the time that they changed it to when I said I needed it for 2 days.

The equipment was not ready. Ended up having to pay for a electrical connector to connect to my truck because they sent it where the four wire connector and told me that it was at 7. They did a quick light check and forgot to check the running lights I got halfway down the highway to Saskatoon and had to pull over for the night cuz I had no lights. Also I was not informed about how all the straps work and just use the wheel tie downs did not know that they were safety chains that connected from the frame of the trailer to the vehicle in tow.

Melissa the customer service rep at this location was amazing to deal with. She helped with hook up and was so great to deal with. I lost my wallet here and she took the time to go outside and look for it and FOUND IT for me. I really am grateful that she took the time in her busy day to do this!

Fill the unit with gas and I will return full of gas. The unit was filthy and smelled like cow manure. I had to drive with the windows down. I did not have enough time to clean the unit myself. Also I was told when I booked the van I had 500 free KLM's but when I went to pay for the rental I was told it was only 300 free KLM's and was charged an additional $50 dollars. Totally unacceptable. Please call me for more explanation at 306-821-3061.

The 6+12 I Wes to pick up ad confirmed was not there to pick up so that gave me a truck foe 3 hrs to move my daughter did not get it all done cost me 2 times the money not the fault of the location that wear good to help me out I think my next trailer should be free

I want $50 sent to me. I wanted a pick up and got a van. I called and they said yes you can get a pick up. I got half of what I needed to get done. Cost me an arm and a leg. I want the $50 sent to me asap. Extremely disappointed. To big of a company owners just lining their pockets.

It was the suboptimal U-Haul experience I expected, based on reviews and what other people I have talked to have said. The annoyances: (with U-haul Canada, not the fault of this specific location): (1) The per KM and per day charges changed between the time I looked these up on the internet and when I rented the vehicle. I am disappointed that the U-haul website did not include an indication that the rates were going to go up in the near future. (2) Likewise, the U-haul customer service center representative told me the old damage insurance rate and gave no indication of the rate increase. (Fault of this location) (3) Interior of vehicle not clean. The mat had not even been removed from the van and shaken off. There was also stuff that clearly would not shake off stuck to or in the mat in one or two places. Particularly disgusting was a dirty blob of something, probably either dried grease or mucus of some kind. I bought a cheap tarp to cover the dirty mat for my move. Also annoying was that the floor in the cab was muddy. No big clods, but enough dirt to get a bag or purse dirty if it was set on the floor. The good things: (4) The vehicle had no mechanical trouble. (5) They were fair and good to deal with. They were not picky about me bringing the vehicle back at an exact, to-the-minute time. I ended up putting a lot more fuel in the van than I needed to, and I was given a discount on my rental fee because I returned it with excess fuel. It says specifically in the contract that I signed that they were not required to do that. (6) This location has the longest operating hours in town (including on weekends). Very convenient.

Tires were bald said my son in law when I arrived at destination. Travelled over mountain pass. Vehicle was suppose to be 10’ and got a 20’. I requested it be in my pickup location and the company had to go get it. Was $200.00+- more than 2 months earlier for same trip. Was at 1/4 tank of gas and I had to top it up.

The person on the phone(Isabella?) Was NOT very knowledgeable about the equipment. I asked if the vehicle would seat 2 adults and a child. She told me all the 10 ft trucks seat 3. For the vehicle and it sears2! She also can't understand when I spelled my last name to her as she totally wrote something else down . Not good public relations. She definitely needs more training. Overall was satisfied with equipment.
