No one was there when we got there to pick up the truck. When they did show up the truck was very dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke, there was trash in the cab and in the back. I called UHaul, spoke with 3 different people and was told to receive a discount I had to talk to the local rep who never returned my call. We are VERY unhappy with this experience.
Make sure truck is aligned and in good shape
The store wasn't open when I was scheduled to pick up the truck. I had to call Uhaul and a representative had tp call the store owner. Then I had to wait for him to arrive. The store was dirty and in an unsafe neighborhood.
The truck had alot of trash in the back of the truck
Was told that the Uhaul would be available at six, when I arrived at six was told that I would not be able to get the truck because the person in charge had left. I had already paid and had received a confirmation email the day of confirming the time and location of pick up.
I was overcharged for my services I agreed to 19.95 plus .99 a mile plus 14 insurance ..only used 7 miles and was charged for 17 miles Was charged 52.79 plus 2.10 I should have only paid 40.88
I showed up for my 10 a.m. pick up to find a locked convenience store in a sketchy neighborhood. 40 minutes later, the convenience store owners came and I checked out the truck. The truck smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. Not a fan odor, but as if it had been taken on a cross-country hotbox roadtrip with Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson. I called U-Haul customer support and they offered me a $50 credit to be applied in a week or so. I would recommend that you U-Haul be more discerning in which locations they use for pickup, and if they implement a strict no-smoking policy (ala a car rental). Thanks

Owner did not answer the phone despite repeated phone calls over several hours. had it not been for mobile check in, the location would not have had my order.
Very dangerous neighborhood. Hard to find. Is in a run down small convenience store named Moes. Bars on doors and windows. The clerk at the window knew little to nothing about reservation. The person responsible was not there and could not be reached by phone despite multiple attempts. Had ordered two dozen pads, they were not in the truck. When I went back in the store, Clerk at site said "We aint got no pads".
Have all of the equipment available. I was charged for a furniture dolly and there was never a furniture dolly in the vehicle. Spent hours on the phone with customer service to try to pick up the vehicle. I do not recommend the 24/7 pick up service to anyone.
Truck had full ashtray and empty soft drink can and snack bag in cab. The appliance cart I had on the order was not there. I had to drive to another location and wait in line while the stores customers came in and bought their lottery tickets and smokes until the clerk got to me.
The location inaccurately recorded the mileage on the rental truck and overcharged me for the rental.
Truck was reserved a week in advance and was not there.
I was given the wrong truck and the truck was not ready for pick up when I arrived.
Maybe you could make sure that your customers arenâ€™t charged nearly $700 for 11 days of rental usage after said customer returned the UHaul. Is this a random incident, NO! It happened to me yesterday. I will absolutely NEVER use UHaul again, and I will be sure to spread this message of dissent towards your companies half ran operation all over social media.
The area felt unsafe. Luckily, I am a young man who came with another person. I would not recommend anyone coming alone. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
No pads and no Dolly!!! Needed my van at 8. The store you sent me to opened at 10:00. He was 22 minutes late opening! Piss poor. I should be comped!. There was a dog kennel left in the back of my vehicle too!
They dont have any of the supplies offered on the website. The charged me for them anyway. They opened a whole hour and a half late. The store owner made inappropriate comments. They didn't check my vehicle back in until after I complained about it to customer service. The only saving grace was the awesome customer service center that worked diligently to correct the issues and gave me a refund. He followed up and apologized several times.
Scary neighborhood. Trashed, stripped and abandoned vehicles in the area
Very bad part of down. After hours drop off felt very dangerous. No clear place to drop the truck. Also, it took until Tuesday to get the email letting me know they had the truck (dropped it Sunday night). I would suggest having this location removed from one way drop off maps in Louisville. There are plenty of other spots to drop.
Iâ€™ve been waiting for them to close me out for a week. Iâ€™ve had a pending charge on my account. I called and messaged serval times through the week and got no response. I finally was able to stop by, for the teller to tell me they cannot close me out because someone stole all the batteries out of all the trucks. I have to wait for mechanics to come fix them all, so they can get the miles. I then receive an email saying i owe double my estimate from costumer service. How do they have the information, if the teller is telling me the batteries weâ€™re stolen. Iâ€™m just very confused and upset about the matter. My estimated price was 109. And now Iâ€™m begin told itâ€™s 230.
