My recent U-Haul rental experience was less satisfactory than expected. I had reserved an open trailer from an Ace Hardware location, but the reservation was changed without notice to an enclosed trailer and a different pickup site. While the enclosed trailer functioned properly, it was much more difficult to load for my specific needs. The new pickup location was a low-cost hotel that did not feel like a typical or professional U-Haul site. The front desk attendant was courteous but understandably busy with hotel duties, which made the process less smooth than anticipated. Although the equipment worked as intended, the unexpected changes, limited assistance, and unprofessional setting made the overall experience disappointing. I recommend clearer communication and more appropriate pickup locations in the future.

Raymond LThe location is a disgusting hotel. They were about 20-30 minutes late opening. Not friendly. Would never recommend this location to anyone.
DANIEL TUpon picking up the rental from Uhaul at Econolodge first thing a man came in screaming profanity to a lady. When returning Uhaul. I was left waiting for the manager to come down and get me checked out. During that time my son was harassed by the Marion police (Jimenez). Then the officer came in and requested my driver's license. I asked him why and he said because my ride picking me up is parked in a parking space and isn't renting a room. I responded because we are dropping off a Uhaul. The police officer still requested my driver's license. I felt violated therefore I will never use the Uhaul at the Econolodge to rent a Uhaul.
