I rented truck online, called and talked to customer service and was told i was good to go. Had to go online 1 more time and do everything all over again. Even after i got email saying i was all set. Then when i went to pick up truck, had to enter all my info in again. That kind of sucked. Returning truck was easier, then renting truck.Pedro M.
Equipment steering wheel was extremely filthy Uhaul main office impossible to connect. No help. I called 3 times about returning and your automated impersonal communication are among the worst. The vehicle got 7 miles to a gallon instead of the 10 miles to a gallon that it advertised. The online feature of checking in and out was horrible. Would not recommend this to anyone.STEPHEN G.
The smartphone check out and return were not convenient or intuitive. I tried the smartphone app to check out the van and it would not accept alternative contact information; kept saying that the name / phone number being submitted was the same as the contract (which it was not). When returning the vehicle, it was unclear that the return was accepted. The app said "Thank you" so I assumed that it was complete and turned in the key. Perhaps a better message would be "Your return in complete, thank you." Make it more obvious when the process is final. Also, fix the alternative contact issue in your app. I got the local agent to finalize the process for me.Paul S.
There is a total disconnect between this market and their job with Uhaul. Online check in and check out is a dysfunctional nightmare. I couldn't get ahold of Uhaul through their main number. I also am sure we were overcharged and STILL cannot get ahold of uhaul. I am contacting the BBB next.Gregory E.
I tried multiple times to log the truck back that. Same night and was not able to do so. I have not had the time to review my account so I don't know if I was charged an additional twenty dollars. I returned my rental to Porters Fuel in McMinnville, OR as requested by Uhaul for a reduction in the rental price. When I arrived the cashier at the gas station refused to allow me to check-in through her. She said that I would have check-in on-line or go return the moving back to where I got it. I showed her the paperwork that indicated that I had to return it to that particular location. I fumbled through the contract looking for some indication on how to return it on-line but found nothing. The cashier finally went and talked to her manager who told her to take my keys and allow me to go on my way. Nobody checked the van with me. I found them unprofessional. I received my bill by email the next morning.David C.
We finished our move one day early so I returned our truck to the location selected. I returned it in person and the person that handles the UHual transactions had left already. The hours listed on the site showed I could return it in person at the time I arrived. The cashier said the person had gone home already and that person would check it in tomorrow but I would be charged for returning it early. As I work the following day I had to return it that day. It was upsetting that I couldn't return it early and get it checked. A customer behind me said I could do it on line myself on my phone. I attempted to do it on my phone and after watching the UHaul videos on how to do it on my phone I was able to complete the checking in process on my own. I was still charged an extra fee the next day as the odometer apparently said I went over miles which I strongly disagree with.Scott M.

The location was not clear and the UHaul key boxes did not have the key so we had to find someone in the station to provide us the key when we specifically asked for it to be only through mobile app. The app is not user friendly and the live chat was not helpful. I was 30 mins into my rental time before I had the keys in my hand. I also arrived at the location 15 mins early to avoid this kind of issue.Leina P.
this site needs more than two employees working at anytime. they where overwhelmed by the demands of the gas station to be able to provide good services for uhaul. like making sure the equipment was clean, or having the equipment ready to go.Gary M.

It was so dirty inside the uhaul I had to clean it out Litterally from top to bottom I have pictures of my kids sweeping it out ,,,,,,,Pattie G.
Location had technical difficulties with the system on both pickup and return. Listed as clean and undamaged when I picked up, my pictures showed otherwise. When I returned truck early, they couldn't return in system and charged me an after hours fee. I contacted website, and Lance Blades provided quick resolution of the extra fee, I appreciate the good customer service online. The location people were nice enough, just unable to access the system, and the truck was dirty. ThanksLorenzo F.
I rented the truck at noon. I brought it back at 5pm. I was charged a 20.00 service fee because it was after 3pm. I was not told at the time of rental of any service fee if it was not back by 3pm. I will tell people not to go to this location and I will not rent again from a (sattlelight) uhaul location. Bad business practicesCandace B.
The young adults running this location were not suited for the job... very poor training or no training at all... I will never be returning to this location again, I could be out of gas and I would walk past this gas station to the next one! Please consider removing your U-Haul product from here and putting it anywhere else!!Dean S.
It's not a complaint, but the guy who rented it and returned it an hour before me left the truck dirty, like he had been driving through mud puddles and got dirt on the floor boards. The windshield was caked in splattered bugs. The reason it's not a complaint is because I knew it had just been returned and didn't have time to go through a cleanup, and it made it easier for me to return because I didn't have to wash it down. I did however wash the bugs off so that I could see through the windshield. Again this was not a complaint, but rather I was grateful that it made it easier to pick it up and return it, since it was a spur of the moment rental. I literally made the reservation 20 min before I picked it up. I was very thankful that the rental was so close to my home, 3 miles.Eric T.
