Waited over an hour to pickup rental, was warned that they closed at 7pm and must return before then or late charge. Returmned truck at 4 pm attendant not in office so returned on app. Saw attendant twice riding in a car near the location. HORRIBLE SERVICE> WILL NEVER USE UHUAL AGAIN
Richard SMy main concern is we drove 21 miles and we charged $35 for fuel. How is that even possible. The gas tank was between 3/4 of a tank and 7/8 of a tank when we picked it up. Also of less concern is that we arrived to pick up the truck and the owners of the business didn’t show up until 20 minutes later then schedule pick up time. Anyway I am requesting a refund for the $35 fuel or at least reduced to $10 for the 21 miles that I drove. If I’m not refunded, I will call American Express and cancel the entire transaction and I will explain in detail my experience on social media as well contact the Better Business Bureau for what I feel is shady business tactics.
