The number on the website is not the number to call apparently. The owner was beyond rude becuase I was late even though I called 4 times that morning and couldn'teave a message and he got annoyed that I didnt answer the phone and lied saying he called multiple times when he only called once and on top of his poor customer service they never gave me the dolly they charged me for and I never got a refund and he did t answer the phone yet again.
The agent who helped me has a great customer service, I definitely will recommend it, I have other closers locations in Tempe but I rather back here.

the location said it would be open, but no one was there two hours before closing. I had to call the store owner and he had no idea about my reservation, even tho I had already checked in online. the owner kept instructing me to sign in, check-in, upload info online, and verify my info, even tho I had already checked in online!!! registered to do an IN-PERSON check-in, however no one was on-site, and I was instructed to use a lockbox outside,
Sell them only what they want. Don't pull a fast one and add stuff they didn't want on their order. When there is a dispute at least show the courtesy to contact your customer. This goes for the company as a whole. Stop pushing and insisting that your customers buy your insurance. Your website becomes very annoying very fast with all the additional stuff you're trying to sell and threaten if people don't buy them. Based on my experience I think U-Haul is an unethical company that does shady business.
The hairdressers have nothing to do with u-haul. The owner or person I talked to over phone had too much of a foreign dialect to fully understand him and he was somewhere else and could not help with disconnecting trailer. I am disabled enough that I could have used help but woman in hair dressers was not an option. I then towed trailer over to a friend's house after calling him and he helped disconnect the trailer. Getting help connecting was done by person at pickup location. The authorized dealers or drop off places are of no use to persons of my age or abilities.

Drop-off is in a mini mall parking lot, the barbershop that manages inventory had no clue what the process was for the drop off. No one checked in the equipment. I had to disconnect trailer myself and put in a parking space. The parking lot isn't level and the trailer wanted to roll away. I had to use something out of my truck to place behind the tires to keep it from rolling away. Would never use that location again.
The U-Haul representative was very accommodating, at a time of crisis and I appreciate his patriotism during this national crisis.

I ALWAYS rent my trucks from Brother Rudolph! I like his character. He's honest and thoughtful and hardworking. And he's an awesome bass player! He's a family man and is in church every Sunday playing his bass. If he's faithful to look after God's house, he'll be faithful to take care of your rental truck needs. My son also gets his hair cut at his barber shop. I give him my HIGHEST recommendation.
Very friendly staff and they were courteous and prompt. They called when the Uhaul was ready, which was before the time we scheduled.
The guy was very nice but failed to give me ALL disclosures of rental. The next time I ever use your company I will go to an actual store not a 3 rd party place

automated drop off point sucks!! miss the person to person contact. no receipt, no person, just a place and your phone.
Created a self service pick up, paid $106 for the truck. Website had an issue and did not provide me with truck code. When I called to resolve, I was told I had a store pick up (I didn't) and was told I had to take it up with the barbershop that was the pick up location. I was going finally provided a different truck on location to allow me to move (mind you I wanted almost 45 minutes for them to sort it out.). Upon dropping the truck off, was informed that I had the wrong truck. None of the information for the new truck was converted onto my order. This resulted in another 15-20 minutes of waiting and a another call to another supervisor. Overall my first experience with uhaul was quite poor and I will likely look into alternatives in the future.
Locks on truck wouldn't work. Took to long to gain access to truck. Alternate truck was parked in a spot that was very difficult to maneuver out of. Phone assistance had to call and assit me eith the lock. I was charged higher than what i was quoted
The trailer was delivered with a flat tire. Of course that was not apparent until I loaded my car on it ... so by the time I unloaded the car, swapped the trailer for another unit and reloaded I lost about 3 hours of my day to this problem.
Unrelated to this specific location, I clicked the link for after hours drop off and it took me to my contract page with no instructions. I dropped my key off in the locations box and left. An hour later while having dinner I checked the app and only then did I have instructions on how to complete the drop off. So I had to drive back to the location just to â€œcompleteâ€ the drop off. From here I sat next to the parked truck and then found out I had to take a live photo of the odometer, something I had not been made privy to because the link I was sent did not inform me of anything other than the location to drop off at. So I had to call your support line who then told me to call the drop off location when they were open the next day. They also refunded me for the dolly thankfully. From there I found out they were closed on the aforementioned day and had to call support yet again, who then connected me to the store somehow without informing me they were going to which was jarring. After informing them what was happening I had everything settled. Until I got a call from them about an hour later asking about the dolly because my contract had not been updated to inform them of the change. Simple fix for me, the person who called was efficient, but really just outlined how UHaul's system didn't update people. I don't blame this person or their store, I am just left with a very sour taste in my mouth from renting a darned truck for like, 6 hours. It was WAY more difficult than it had to be, and it made me rather frustrated and upset.
The gentleman at that locaciÃ³n was extremly helpful and kind.
