Nakia MRENT A UHAUL TRUCK AT YOUR OWN RISK. This was, by far, one of the worst experiences I've ever had for a process that could have been so easy and seamless. The overall experience was very, very poor. I was originally reserved to pick up my truck at another location (the original location that was provided to me) and then was told by the person there to go to a second location because the person in charge at the original location was not there. On my way to the second location, I called customer service to confirm that my truck would be there and they sent me to a third location instead. When I arrived at location 3, I was told that there was no one there to help me either. I called customer service 4-5 times to get help, and it wasn't until I was finally put on the phone with the owner that he was able to help me. I don't think this is the third location's fault. I think UHAUL was extremely disorganized and sent me to 3 different places while I had to call 5 different people to get answers about how to rent the truck I reserved. This should have been an easy and straightforward process because I was doing a mobile check-in - but it was taking over 25 minutes to get approved for the rental through the app, which ended up denying my approval because the location wasn't right. At the end of the day, my reservation was provided to me over an hour late, and I had to use a truck that had not been inspected prior to my rental of it. I was given no compensation for the extra miles I was made to drive to the 3 different locations or for the extra time I spent dealing with this situation to make sure I could get the truck. I was also charged way more for gas than what was used (which is ridiculous because I had to spend my OWN gas running back and forth between the locations that the customer service representatives were sending me to).
