Easy to work with, exactly what I needed. When I went a day past what I had planned, they were very nice about it. When I asked a question via email, it was answered in a fast yet thorough manner. I would definitely use this location again if I were to need another truck.

Would highly recommend this location to anyone. The lady went out of her way to help me when my vehicle broke down in Oregon and my 16 year old & I were stuck on our way to Iowa from Washington. I wasnt going to get another UHaul after the very poor service I received from the regional representative, Ginger. I explained that my transmission went out in my car while towing a trailer up the mountain. Ginger and her team wanted to charge me double the price for 4x8 trailer because I was not returning it to the Iowa location. When I tried to explain that my vehicle broke down & I could not afford to pay double, nor should I have to because I was still getting a Uhaul, and Oregon is closer to Washington than Iowa. Ginger rudly replied that it wasnt her problem that my car broke down. It made me feel stupid & worthless. Ginger did finally agree not to charge me extra, but refused to give me any refund for returning the trailer to a closer location and despite the fact that I was now paying an additional $800 for a larger truck (which I only wanted a 10' truck, but Ginger would only find me a 15' truck 40 miles away). When I spoke with the amazing representative at the Milton-Freewater location, she was so kind to try and help me find a ride to her location because Ginger would not help me find a location closer to me. The location I got my truck at was 40 miles from where I was, and my car was not drivable. My family was in Washington & Iowa, so I had no way to get this truck. I was in a town that did not have taxi or uber or any way for me to get to the truck. When I explained that to the representative in the location I got the truck from, she went out of her way to help me get to her. It took a whole day to get there, but in the end because of her kindness my 16 year old & I made it safely to Iowa. I would like to say that in my experience of renting a UHaul, I've never been so mad as I was with the regional representative, Ginger, for her very rude & unkind words, but if not for the extreme kindness of the representative in Milton-Freewater, I would have never rented from UHaul again. I still feel that I should have recieved a refund for returning the trailer to a closer location, as it would not have cost as much in the first place. I couldnt take it to the original location due to the unfortunate circumstances of my car breaking down. I had to leave my car in Pendleton as payment for being towed off the mountain and had to pay an additional $100 to have the UHaul trailer towed too. I understand policies, as I have been in customer service management for over 20 years, but the rudness of your representative over my circumstances was something that I will remember & my daughter will remember forever. As it ultimately caused us the rest of our money and caused us to walk over 20 miles that day. Thank you for listening.

At Milton-Freewater in Oregon and we worked with the finest lady being explaining going from and coming home. So pleasant and the best. If needed for the Uhaul we want uhaul with her in this place. We live in Walla Walla, Wa and went to Seattle and brought it back from Seattle.

nicer office and have the truck ready by the door rather at the end of the parking lot. Go over the truck to help locate buttons and things needed for a 3000 mile drive.

I am very disappointed with my return of the truck. I turned it in a day early, swept and clean of all debris. I was charged a cleaning fee probably because I turned the key in after hours and did interact with any employee face to face. I've used U-haul before and ALWAYS had a wonderful experience... this location felt a bit shady.

There were no lights in the parking lot. My equipment return was not processed until Uhaul's loss unit contacted me and then the local Uhaul.

The service was good. I had a stressful overall experience due to the loss of the key... My fault! But was not treated very well when returning due to pressure from the next reservation. I can't say it's the u haul person... But the presure and attitude from the next reservation was putting stress on the the u haul person and I was given attitude for it. Things happen and it was out of my control and the extra stress sucked!

The only problem we had was with the truck - driver's side side-view mirror was loose? Wouldn't stay adjusted.

First, the truck wasn't there when we arrived at 2. Then, after waiting an additional 30 minutes, we were given a truck we didn't order, or need (WAY too big). When we picked up the truck we were told we needed to return it at 1:00 the next day, which meant we got 1.5 hours less than the 24 hours we rented it for. This caused a massive rush in the morning and we ended up having to store about 20% of our items because we didn't have time. Due to this, we ended up adding unnecessary mileage that we were charged for, in addition to having to pay the higher gas cost for the bigger truck. At the end of the day, we were charged over $75 for a gas guzzling truck that was bigger than we needed and for less than the 24 hours we rented it for. They advertise $29.99 for 24 hours. We paid $75+ for 10.5 hours, very deceptive pricing. Next time we will use another company with better rates and much better and honest service.

I was charged for safemove coverage when I chose not to have coverage upon making my reservation online. I called several times in order to get a credit and was told they would call me back to resolve this issue but never received a call.
