ADVERTISING IS EXTREMELY MISLEADING. The "fees" contained within "$19.95 plus mileage/fees" are OUTRAGEOUS. I rented the smallest truck available for just 3 hours to move a mattress, and ended up being charged NINETY THREE DOLLARS. Even worse, the total price with "mileage and fees" included is only showed to you when you are returning the truck, after the fact, with no ability to opt out anymore. I would not have rented the truck if I had known how much it would actually have cost - in this scenario, not worth it at ALL. If you are moving and need to rent a truck, please be aware that the advertised price of $19.95 on the side of UHaul trucks is incredibly misleading, and factor that into your decision! Also, I chose a location where I would access the rental remotely through my phone. It's advertised as instant and instead, I spent close to 30 minutes standing in the cold waiting for my request to be "approved," which also meant that by the time I actually got into the truck, my 3-hour rental was actually only 2.5 hours. Overall, a pretty disappointing customer experience, and I will seriously think twice before renting from UHaul again.Emily B.

We ordered a furniture and hand dollyes which they had on-site. But they did not have the moving blankets or any boxes, etc. Which I did not find out until I arrived.Richard R.
I will never again be using U-Haul. We experienced the worst customer service ever. Upon reserving a truck the customer service rep almost charged us double, but we caught it by asking questions. Additionally, we reserved a truck from this GB location only to be told it wasn't available there and that we had to go to a different one. We waited in long lines each time, and when we went to pick up our truck, waited in line for an hour, and that's not exaggerating. There was only 1 man working the counter and the line was backed all the way to the door. Upon reserving we had selected a drop off destination for our truck and then it was no longer available on day of pickup. We had to select a different one which was far out of our way and then wasn't even open on Sunday's... and they charge an after-hours/closed fee for drop off. We rented 2 bags of furniture pads and left one in the truck and attempted to return one to the pickup location where the staff proceeded to be rude and tell us there was nothing to do to not have us charged for 6 un-used pads. We had to fold these pads and clean the truck when we were done or face a $25 fee! I also tried renting this truck online before we went in and had issue after issue... I never write reviews but this was just appalling...Jonathan G.

Our original location, on Nicolellet, which was close to my father's apartment, got changed by text message. The texted location, St. Louis Park, never answered the phone. So the U-haul on Nicollet, which was so helpful with boxes, and box returns, but did not have a truck for us, called the Mr. Tire place. We went here because they were the next closest and had the truck we needed. Not a great looking place, but patient and thorough, so we drove away happy.Diane U.

Uhaul mobile pickup was incredibly slow and annoying. Also, drop off was difficult because there was an error with the odometer. I had to call customer service and speak with 3 people over the course of 40 minutes to get it resolved. The site said I had driven 4,000+ miles when I had rented it for 2.5 hours and had actually driven 10 miles. The person at Mr Tire Service was absolutely wonderful though. 10/10 on the location and personnel there.Rachel W.
Online pickup is a nightmare. I had previously uploaded my driver's license, the app asked for it upon check in, my passport and need 2 references to pick up the phone while I was waiting to pick up the rental. Took 30 minutes. If they need all this info, ask for it before pick up. Mr. Tire is great but U Haul app is horrible.liesa H.
