The truck was a mess. I had to sweep it out before and after loading it. Interior seemed clean but the steering wheel was tacky and felt like it had never been wiped down. Truck ran well. No issues. The employee at this location seemed like I was bothering him. Told me the truck was either out front or behind the building. I had to search for the correct one I struck being sent directly to it. I felt he could have been more helpful.

I brought the truck at 12:30 pm and 15 hours later (basically) next day 3:54 am i received my invoice. This is very concerning. What would happened if someone else used the truck and got into trouble with it. I do not recommend this location to anybody. As a client, i had the worse experience.

When I arrived to pick up the truck, the gentleman was exemplary? When I realized that I wasn't going to get the truck back on time. I called the service number, as the store is closed on sundays which is the normal. The service provider was awesome! Asked me a couple of questions and he took care of everything. I asked me what time I would return the truck? I asked him if there was any extra cost from bring it back around 3pm on Monday afternoon. He replied, it doesn't matter when you return it on monday there's no extra cost. I returned it earlier that planned. On Monday morning I returned the truck at 9:30pm. But when I returned the truck, I accidentally locked the keys in the truck,engine off. So, I went in the store to explain my situation and asked for help. The clerk was on the computer, he didn't say anything,so I waited at the counter for a minute or two for him acknowledge me. He asked what I want, told him about keys locked in the truck. He said the only way to open the truck door was to call a tow truck and it will take 3-4 hours for one to come. The time was around 9:30am - 9:35am Monday morning. I'm surprised you don't have spare keys for your vehicles? Now, just today, I'm reading an email from u-haul that I'm charged for 3 days rental, when I only had it for 2 days?

1) UHaul Pickup van was not in the place per photo. 2) Key was not in the locker per instruction. It was in the store and I had to get it from the store person. This created confusion. Anyway, I was unable to identify the locker during pick up. 3) UHaul Store was difficult to identify as the hoarding was small and difficult to see it unless you check the stores one by one. 4) It was hard to identify the locker to deposit the key. Absolutely no light, felt really unsafe to search and go behind the building when it was dark late in the night. Overall, Uhaul van is good, mobile check in and instruction steps were clear. Reg ezfuel or customer to fill the fuel instruction could have been better and explicitly communicated. Location experience was very bad, would recommend uhaul but not the location 31 Queen St N, Mississauga, ON L5N 1A2.

Requested a dolly for the move, no dolly was provided, but I was charged for a dolly and the contract said it was checked off as being there when the truck was picked up and returned which was incorrect. Otherwise a good experience.

Given the location, the availability of the truck and the shop was great. But the truck was not in the best condition, mechanically. Over revving, due to the tow/haul mode and being a rainy day as suggested on the truck to turn off the mode, I tried, but it wasn't working, so I felt very unsafe driving it. Also the cargo area was stinking.

The mobile checkin was awful. Great concept but our pictures werent accepted and forced us to call for pick up and drop off.

Had I not checked the truck, I wouldn't have noticed that it wasn't equipped with the extra moving equipment I reserved. This also happened to my brother at a different location and was sent on a wild goose chase to find blankets at another location 20km away. Only got 10 blankets out of the 12 reserved. Lastly, the online check-in process is a god damn JOKE!! I opted to go this route instead of going inshore due to COVID safety but 90% of the verification they needed could have been done from home because it added another 45 minutes to getting our moving truck. Then it was even worse on returning the truck. Never again. Anyone reading this, choose an official Uhaul outlet where you can speak to someone in person!!

Called to reserve the truck, was directed to Uhaul website to the same as their internet was reportedly down. Not very customer friendly or customer oriented. I have been overcharged for miles driven. My estimated miles were 19 miles. I drove only 12 miles. I was expecting a refund for less miles driven, instead I was surprised to find that I have been additionally charged for 12 miles. It appears that there is deliberate attempt to fleece the customer. Please look into this and do the needful ASAP. Thanks

Though the mobile check-in did not work for me, the store associate was able to help me out in-store. Drop off was easy and convenient with the online platform. As other have noted beware of the potholes in the parking lot!

I booked a 10 foot truck online on Sept 24th for Sept 26th and immediately received a call few minutes later from the customer service representative to inform me that there is no truck available for Sept 26th even though the booking was confirmed online. I was not happy but did not have any other choices than to cancel my moving plan for the 26th. Later on the same day (Sept 24th) I booked another 10 foot truck for Oct 3rd to be picked up at 7.00am. I booked one week in advance and planned my moving day accordingly. Reservation #: 28787242. On Oct 3rd I went to the location on Smart Vacuum Plus 31 Queen St N Mississauga, ON L5N1A2 at 7.00am to pick up the van. For some reasons I could not do the pick up on my mobile phone. I called 1-800-GO-U-HAUL and stayed on the line for 20 minutes before a rep took the phone to tell me she cannot help me and gave me another number 1-866-984-7079. I called and waited for another 15 minutes to finally get hanged up. I called again and finally got someone on the line after 10 minutes to tell me that the truck was not setup for online pick up and I will have to come back to the store at 10.00am to pick up the truck in-person. So frustrating....I planned to pick up the truck at 7.00 for a two hours drive and wanted to avoid the traffic peak hours. And now I will have to pick up the truck at 10am and drive through the peak hour traffic and had to delay all the other activities and had to inform all the people involved in that move. Later on at 10.00am I came back to the store and advised the rep about what happened earlier at 7.00am. He did not even looked at me like he did not hear what I was saying and just asked me blanky for my driving permit. He did not want to engage any discussion or explanation. He told me the keys were in the pick-up box. Anyways I did not want any confrontation and complete my paperworks took the truck and went on with my business as I was already so late on my schedule. I just want to let you know that in real life my experience did not reflect what you advertise on your website and your business partners at this location did not seem to know how to conduct the business in a professional manner and did have any customer service skills at all. I could have gone for any regular Joe on the street to rent their truck, pay less money and would have got a smile and better service than I got from U-HAUL yesterday. I hope this will get your attention and you will take some measures to improve your service at least with this location. Thank you

The worst ever experience from u-Haul Representative served me. The Location was not so ok, poorly maintained. Most disappointing was the treatment of the personal. He had not wear mask or any face covering, no greetings when entered store, rude behaviour (I don't know if he doesn't like to entertain a south asian) no vehicle inspection / verification for any damages before handing over vehicle, no contract explanation nothing. DEFINITELY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

Cleaning the cabin would be nice; especially in the current situation. The person working at the location (possibly owner) was terrible; seemed bothered that I was renting a truck, didn't even point me in the direction of where to find the correct truck, wasn't wearing a mask. Most unhelpful individual I've met in years.


The U Haul unit with license plate number AH12907 had a clean cargo area. On the crew cabin, there was smell of marijuana. I wonder if it would be possible to ban the use of marijuana for those renting the U-Haul Truck. Secondly, I would suggest if it would be possible to have an information to renters to check parking regulations to avoid any penalties from the City office for overnight parking at the street. the app experience was horrible! I could never get it to work, I'm glad the location was open. I was on hold on the phone for a long time, and tried chatting in the app, I got a few suggestions which didn't work and then never heard from the chat person again! FIX YOUR APP!

We spent 45min waiting for mobile pick up to give us code to get the key for the van. And then spent a long time waiting for someone answer the uhaul line. Apparently the system was down but it was a very frustrating and costly experience.

The pot holes more like 'craters' in the parking lot are very scary to drive on. They should get this area fixed asap before someone damages their car badly.
