Verifying what I ordered online and supplying the dealership with the proper materials to correspond to that would be very nice. Anthony was a great guy, but he didn't have everything I requested online. Which I do not know if that is his fault or not, but he did take care of it and gave me a good price. I originally had my pick up place to be in Wabasha, MN, but when I got there, they did not have the truck that I reserved. I had to travel another 28 miles to pick up the truck I needed. Anthony at Cali Style was a delight to work with. I highly recommend this location. However, I had my reservation in place 18 days in advance and I also confirmed my reservation two days prior, there should have been a truck for me at the Wabasha location.Carrie M.

Hard to find, no U-Haul sign visible from Highway 37. Had to look on the internet and found another U-Haul in town who told me the name of the sigh to look for (not U-Haul). Also, phone calls to U-Haul typically took 10 minutes on hold until someone freed up from other customers to help me. This is a U-Haul problem, not a drop off location problem.arch M.
This comment is not a reflection on Anthony at the Mondovi location - he was great, but your branch on Birch Street in Eau Claire and this entire process. When we booked our truck and trailer pickup for the Eau Claire location, we received an e-mail from U-Haul instructing us to make an appointment to have our vehicle inspected to ensure we had rented the right equipment - no problem. We stopped over at the store to ask about this step. I was brushed off, told to reread the e-mail to figure out what I was supposed to do, and sent to another store because "we won't have your truck here anyway." We, then, went to the store in Chippewa Falls, which was wonderful. They checked out our car and assured us that they would call us 24 hours before pickup. Well, 24 hours before pickup, we had no call. It was only after our third call with U-haul that we discovered that our rental was not in Eau Claire, but Mondovi - an hour and a half round-trip drive - with zero flexibility in getting it up to us. After being told we could have an extra day with the rental, we made the trek to the address we were given... which was ten mile on the outside of town (in the other direction) and into a swamp. When we arrived at the ACTUAL pickup location, there was no attendant and so, I called for the fourth time. Once Anthony arrived at the location, we were able to secure the truck, but not the extras that we had rented with the truck (i.e. blankets, mattress covers) - for those, we had to go back to the Eau Claire store... After packing, we realized that we had a dozen more blankets than we needed, so we returned them to the Eau Claire store. They took no information about our order, just said "leave them at the bottom of the stairs, we'll figure it out later..." We are very grateful that we were given an extra day with the truck and $100 off of the rental cost, but this whole process was a bit of a fiasco. I would recommend some professional development for the Birch Street store, better communication between locations, as well as the assurance for/communication with your customers that trucks will be at their booked location or given further advanced notice on where their truck will be available for pickup. I had to call to find that information out far into the 24 hour window before pick up.Damien G.
The rear or the truck was not cleaned before I picked up the rental. Whoever used it last used it for farm supplies or something. It was absolutely disgusting. Now all my things smell like silage. I would like some money off my bill because I now have to do extra cleaning of my belongings to get rid of the smell.Steven R.
The trailer I used was in great condition with everything working like it should. But...It didn't have a ramp! One would have made life A lot easier for me. Had to lift my item I hauled by myself and also got help at other stops. Otherwise A-Okay.steven M.

There were two frustrations for my pick up. The first is I requested the 24 hour pick up, however it was listed for a 10am pick up when I explicitly communicated I would be there about 7am. So I had to call customer service to change that. Additionally, no dolly was with the truck. Since it was so early, I had no way to get one. I tried stopping at the Uhaul in Menomoinie (Where I originally made my reservation) and they too were not open, even though time listed 730a opening. So I purchased my own dolly instead,.Andy F.

The owner was very friendly. One of the cables on the overhead door was loose and caused the door to open a little harder. Did not notice it as we didn't discover it until my packing company noticed it. I called the pick up location and left a message about it. I mentioned it to the drop off location manager. Make sure they do a walk around the vehicle with the customer, that did not happen with me.Richard H.

Make sure you know what equipment you have where. Was told that one location didn't have what I needed so I drove 40 minutes one way to get the two things and showed up with no one there and not the right equipment. And then in the end my town end up having what I needed. Very unorganizedCordell W.
Anthony was great. We were using a car dolly, the car we needed to load was lower then the trailer angle so we couldn't trailer it. Anthony shared with us to use wooden the ramp to clear the car bumper cover while loading. Thanks Anthony!!Wendy B.
