There was no key box to pick up the key. The key was inside the gas station. We were supposed to pick up our key at 7:00am when the store opened. The store manager was not there until 7:45am. We had driven 45 minutes to this location to only then wait 45 minutes to get our key to the uhaul. The store manager had no explanation or apology. I was very disappointed in the professionalism and would never recommend doing this again.

Have the item available at the location it is reserved at. This location was 1 hour away from the original location I reserved the tow dolly .

No signage that this was a u haul location; no u haul trucks or trailers visible. This was a gas station that I stopped at to ask where u haul location was; surprised this was it. No signage

The interior of the trailer was dirty. Had a light out on the trailer. The u-haul location is also a gas station. The workers were to busy with running the gas station. The worker incorrectly rigged the trailer. When I returned the trailer, the worker was to busy running the gas station to assist with disconnecting the trailer or checking the trailer over. Patrons of the gas station had priority as I was told to wait multiple times. Horrible experience.

I made my reservations about 5 days ahead of scheduled pick-up. My original request was to pick up the truck in Ronceverte WV. There was not a truck available there so I was directed to pick it up in Covington Va. Not huge deal....30 miles away. A day before pick-up I was redirected to pick up the truck in Moneta VA. 111 miles & over 2 hours away from my original request. This is a serious issue that needs to be rectified!!! Totally unacceptable!! Unfortunately my bad experiences were not done. When I drop off the vehicle in Frederick Md., the office there was in complete disarray!!! I had to wait for 20 minutes before someone waited on me. And then I was charged for an additional 8.4 miles over my allowance!!! Granted, I was given 100 extra miles because of having to pick the truck up in a non-preferred location, but 100 miles didn't even cover the difference in the distance!!! Totally discussed with the whole experience!!! Never again will I use U-haul for my moving experiences.

First off reserve the equipment in the location requested not in another state and not make custumer lose half a day loading up and still exspect to unit dropped of on time. It Don't work that way

I originally booked my trailer through the lynchburg location, however, it was switched to this location. This location was an hour away from where my residence is, which was terrible after my family drove 5 hours to help me move. The location didn’t have any items to assist, didn’t even have a trailer pin for a hitch or know what that was. I have spoke to even corporate about this terrible experience.

Unable to manually lift 12 ' uhaul trailer onto or off tow veh ball!! Seemed very UNKNOWLEGEABLE about contract or trailer. Did not tell me veh had to be returned 3 days later at pickup time. Left me with impression I could drop trailer off anytime on drop off day. Then they suppressed me with limited mileage on tow vehicle. Even worse, I was overcharged by $53. They said they could do nothing about it and my drop off location could make adjustments--which they couldn't and didn't. I spent over four hours on phone trying to straighten out issues. At this writing I am not sure issues have Ben rectified. Several Customer service calls went unanswered!!!

Allow assistance for someone disabled with the trailers that have no way to lift them on their own. An hour travel from my requested location is not reasonable in my eyes.

It is not a good location for the size of truck lots of small winding roads in the middle of no where. the person did not go over anything with me just basically gave me the keys and said here you go pull up so I can give you the hand truck and blankets when we opened the truck it had dirty nasty comforters from the last renter and leaves inside also leaves and dirt it also had less than a quarter tank of gas when I told the lady she said "it's supposed to be a quarter tank I guess by the way it looks no one checked it when it was returned" she never did a walk around or anything

Did not expect much as it was a gas station, but the service was great. Both the people that were working were great and very accommodating. It's a pretty busy location but they seem to know what they were doing. They changed my reservation to my needs and also were able to match the price that Penske gave me. Everytime I need a truck or trailer, this is where I will be going. The parking lot is pretty big, so it's pretty easy in and out, they also stay open late, so it is definitely convenient. So far the best experience dealing with u-haul. I will definitely recommend u-haul, especially this locationto my family and friends.

I booked this reservation in JANUARY for a pickup in ROANOKE--hours before pickup U-Haul changed the location--forcing me to drive 2 HOURS out of my way to get this trailer. Their reservations are obviously MEANINGLESS.

Staff it with properly trained personnel that can attend to the customer, rather than a person trying his best but has to call to get specifics of what to do while trying to serve a steady stream of gasoline customers.

The truck was dirty inside. The cup holder had a sticky substance in it. The floor was dirty in the cab. The attendant did not pre check the truck before trip or check after trip. I actually wrote down the mileage and fuel. It's a good thing I am honest.

Location personnel spoke bad English, did not/could not explain terms of the lease properly, items that were explained were wrong, etc. I think that I was grossly overcharged for keeping the unit only 8 hours and driving it 56 miles ($104.27 + $9.60 gas).
