Make sure trucks are clean prior to customer pick up
The key provided in the lock box was not for the truck I was assigned. I wasted 45 minutes trying to find the correct truck and then making phone calls to U-Haul to confirm which vehicle to take. After multiple "on-hold" minutes I finally matched the key to the vehicle it fit and drove off. No matter which U-Haul phone number you call there is always a lengthy wait time. Time is import when moving and waiting on hold is the last thing I want to do.
My experience dropping off at each of these locations was good. However, my experience with the Uhaul corporation was poor. I was traveling from Michigan to Alabama and decided to rent a 15 foot truck. Not only because that more than plenty of space for my belongings, but also because that is the largest truck that I felt comfortable driving across the country. The day before my move, Uhaul emailed me saying I was being upgraded to a 20 foot truck. And I also noticed the bill summary reflected this upgrade. (One that I did not ask for) Of course this caused even more anxiety on top of the stress of moving cross country. I called while en route to Michigan and whomever I spoke with said she was getting the issue resolved. When I got my new confirmation-it said the same exact thing- a 20 foot truck was waiting for me. Finally the morning I was to pick up the truck a kind representative did get the truck situation sorted out.
Great experience. The U-Haul App has some issues. I misread the question about vehicle ready for next user and accidentally hit the wrong button and the App refused my correction and forced me to take a whole bunch of extra pictures to prove the truck was available for next renter
We need help!!! I have been using Uhaul for over 15 years and this was the worst experience of my life. We wanted to rent a 26' truck to move from Alabama to Georgia. I told the associate that we needed to return the truck in Georgia. Upon returning the truck in GA, i was slapped with a $420 extra charge because they said the associate didn't put in GA as a drop off location. (Why would i want to return a truck back to Alabama where i no longer live. I specifically told her that the trip is ~200 miles long. Why would anyone with common sense do this?) The drop off location told me i need to work with the Pick up location to sort this out because they cannot do anything. Fine. I called the associate at the pick up location and ask them to help me. The associate turned defensive and said i never told her that I wanted to return the truck in GA. (again, why would i want to drive 200 miles moving out of town and had to go back and return the truck where i no longer live?). On that day, the associate asked us to use our phone to book the truck because her computer wouldn't let her. Once we book it, she use her computer to print out paper work for us. We told her MANY times that we were moving out of state. I really need help to correct this issue and i hope someone could help me. We don't want to put blame on anyone or pointing fingers, we just need help to correct this. $420 is not easy money for us in this difficult time. Thanks a lot for your help!!!
Tell customer/driver to wait until their movers/helpers arrive before parking truck at loading doc. This will help with better flow at the loading dock.

I picked the truck up from a different location and returned it here after hours using the key drop box. I never entered the building, but spoke with an employee over the phone later the same and that employee was very nice.
Facility Manager Justin Boykin was super accommodating.
I have rented here about five times because I have a unit there. The manager Michelle is rude . Never calls back. I used a truck today, a 17 foot, it was 89.00 after 20. In gas. There is no way I used 20. In gas because I drove maybe 15 miles. She basically said oh well it is what it is. Will not EVER rent from her again.
Key pickup with app and small pickup time windows totally SUCKS. I will only use this function in the future if i am completely desperate. Always liked uhaul and I've used you a lot but this left a bad taste in my mouth.
Office hours were limited, did not have the blankets I needed for my move.
Make sure that all the equipment is in the vehicle before setting it out for the customer to use. We got to our moving location and there was no dolly to use to pick the items. Even though I ordered one it wasn't on the truck. Very inconvenient!
Was over charged and when asked the manager hung up the phone in my face very tasteless and bad customer service an I do have the call recorded
No one told me I had to download an app to pick up the truck. Waited on hold for 30 minutes to talk to someone at U Haul to find that out. Truck had a damaged rubber seal around the top of the windshield that banged on the cab while driving. Very annoying.

Took me over an hour to rent out Uhaul because uhaul's new system was down.

The location and people at the location were great! The rental process and uhaul itself needs to improve its rental process. We were supposed to pick up a 20 foot truck at 7 AM and that particular location had trucks that were not returned, which I understand, but I got a phone call from traffic who sent me to another location that did not have the size truck I needed. They proceeded to send me to 2 other locations who did not have the correct size truck other! They should have checked with the location first before sending me all over the city!! I spent 2 hours trying to find a truck when I had moving help arriving within an hour!!! There needs to be a better process when something like this happens! When we finally got the truck we needed, the location was helpful and super nice!
received a text saying 10' box truck will be at this location at 9:30am.I arrived early and was treated w/professional courtesy.I was quickly on the road and returned 3 hrs. later and was on the road in my car in 5 minutes.moved furniture and all went well.
Truck had a touchy ignition and would not start at times. Sometimes turning the key around worked, but this should not be necessary as it was a two-way key.
