There was a bag hanging in the loading area of the truck; offering moving mats for usage; but there were no mats. There was a chained lock on the door of the truck; but it was broken. These are the little things that can make an already stressful move even more stressful. Especially if you have to park overnight and the LOCK provided by U-Haul is broken! That should be one of the most important part of a rental truck, is making sure that the RENTERS safety & materials is secured!!
