The tire pressure was way off. Thankfully we checked it before getting on the highway. We were traveling a long ways from Tennessee to Illinois. We couldn't refill at the location so we had to take an extra half an hour to refill it ourselves. We also had to do the hitch up ourselves with no inspection. The people who worked at the Shell gas station where this was were little help. He had no tools to check the equipment or help us in anyway. One of the side marker lights and the license plate one were out as well and he didn't have any spare light bulbs to fix any of those things. We shared these things with the employee who worked there and we're not happy that the trailer was not in good condition and ready to go.

Would not take my truck keys had to drop in a night deposit box and was told they would check in the next day never got confirmation they had checked it back in. Called 1800 uhaul Saturday afternoon wad told would check on it Monday never heard anything no confirmation it was returned waited till Tuesday at noon called 1800 Uhaul again finally received a confirmation email but they stated it was still not turned in. Very bad service at dropped off location.

I was charged for 20 more miles than I drove due to mistake by Sam at the rental location. He apparently read the odometer incorrectly when I returned the truck. I received my bill the following day and immedialtly recognized that it was incorrect. The bill said if I had any questions to respond to an e-mail address. Being older I prefer to deal with people personally. I returned to rental location. Sam was not there. There was a man checking the truck. It was Darren Bates. He is the area manager for 21 locations in the Moddle Tenn. area. He checked the mileage and agreed that a error had been made. He said that my card account would be credited within 3 -5 business days. I thanked for his quick response. i do not like your check procedure which allows the rental location to read the mileage and charge my card that amount. I also do not like being given a e-mail address rather then someone I can call to explain my situation.

This is a convenience store, not a U-Haul store. I pre-reserved a transport trailer and showed up on time for my appointment. After waiting on the line of construction workers getting breakfast in the morning, I was walked through a checklist to rent that included the color of my vehicles. Bizarrely, it was a sticking point for them. The convenience store clerk wouldn't let me rent because her computer told her she couldn't... because of the color of my vehicle. I kid you not. After getting upset enough that she picked up the phone to call her U-Haul help line they told her to change the color of my vehicle in her system and, hey presto, I was allowed to rent. With absolutely no guidance or help I found my transport around the pack of the convenience store and hooked it up by myself. It was in serviceable condition, but had been previously damaged. Next time, I'm going to make sure the location I'm renting from is an actual U-haul store.

We reserve the truck one week ahead for 7:00 AM pick up. We arrived at 8:30 and the cashier at the gas station gas station told me “ “they” don’t get here till nine”. The U-Haul people don’t get here till nine. So at 9 o’clock she says, Mr. Morgan, here are your keys. The truck was as expected; no complaints there. 10 hours later we return the truck, (cleaned out the truck even swept it all out) and were told to drop the keys in the dropbox outside. We did that and now are receiving a receipt that shows a $25 cleaning fee.

When I arrived, the mobile pick up service was not working. The equipment I reserved (dollies and hand trucks) was not available, so it apparently messed up the reservation. Saturday morning and only 1 person working the entire gas station. The girl was nice and apologized for the long wait. I understood, there was nothing she could do. She had to cancel my reservation and place a new one so I could leave with the 26' truck. When I entered the truck, the gas gauge was well below half of a tank, so I took a picture of the fuel level and mileage. I fueled up to cover my 9 miles and returned the truck. I was charged the fuel surcharge, but Darren quickly corrected the mistake the next day. He was great to work with and did a great job resolving the matter. There are definitely some opportunities for improvement, but Darren handled it all well.

I got my gas back at the same store I pick the U-Haul up at and they said I was off a little bit on my gas the gas hand will not register until you actually drive it on the road other than that my experience was good

The location owner is very rude and belittles customers. I reserved both trucks 2 weeks in advance, did speedy online check in to decrease my pick up time by 50%, but that was a joke and waste of time, I was in the pick up location for 45 minutes, ( due to the location owner). I filled a complaint with the district manager, who stated he would reprimand the location owner, and refund some of the 400.00 I spent on the trucks. We will see!!!!

On picking up the first truck we reserved at the Citco, we where told that the truck was not ready and that they would not have it back till the next day. So we had to drive 20-25 minutes into the next town to get a truck so we could move our stuff. This was very inconvenient for us and took a lot of time away from our day to be able to move.

The clerk had a very thick Indian accent, perhaps it was just me, but I found it very hard to understand her. When I tried to rent it the first time their credit card machine didn’t work, I had to go to my bank to get cash.
