It took over two hours just to get the vehicle to be rented it was absolutely absurd at what I had to go through having to drive to another location because it wouldn't work at the location I was at then that location didn't worked I had to then drive back to the first location wasting my time money and gas very dissatisfied with U-Haul actually it was pathetic and I would never recommend or use U-Haul again and you charge what you charge you should be ashamed of yourselves also because it took so long for me to get my rental I had to pay extra money for the movers to move because everything was depending on it mean while I had a reservation the day before and a confirmation for a rental what's the point of doing that if you can't rent it without any hassle it was a complete Nightmare and a very frustrating situation I would not recommend you all go with Ryder or one of the other companies
I would like to see a copy of my final bill I speak to a representative of the company and have them call me

Reservation was made for 3:00 pm. Vehicle was not ready until 4:30 pm. Owner was courteous with the after hours return, but the back of the van was not cleaned and residue on the floor got all over the furniture we put in the van. Would like to speak to somebody in customer service if possible.
I ordered (and paid for) 12 furniture pads. In the past, pads were in the truck when I picked it up. This time, no pads. Please reverse the charge. Thanks, Yehuda
The lady didn't know what she was doing I waited more than 30 min to get the truck.

They were not open at the time listed on the door. I wasted time literally WAITING for the owner to arrive.

For some reason U-Haul only offered this location for my drop off despite it being further from my destination, it was also closed and I passed a great U-Haul rental location that was open where I have received great service on other occasions. I even called customer service to try and get the drop off switched but to no avail. If there is an option to return to an open location I feel that option should be given, you must remember your clients in most cases have just moved which is stressful enough without having to do the entire drop off procedures by themselves some thought should be given in this area.
There are two ways to enter the location, but the first entrance is Taco Bell 10Ft drive thru and its is confusing while using 20FT truck with 11Ft clearance. May be adding sign in from of first entrance would help.
The size truck I wanted came in as I was looking to pick it up. So saddly it wasn't wept clean and the previous user had left lots of dirt and such.
My truck smelled of marijuana. After a whole day of spraying Lysol it still smelled of pot. Otherwise a really great experience, of moving yourself. I love the ramp, and how you answer the phone at customer service.
Truck not available. And when I called U-Haul representatives were rude and non courteous Had to call again because I was hung up on. Now have to wait u til 530 pm to be able to get another truck somewhere else
Everyone at the U-Haul agency was extremely helpful, and very nice. I will be delighted to recommend this U-Haul agency to friends and family in my community. Service was excellent both at the time of rental, and when I returned vehicle. The Gentleman explained all the charges on the invoice, and was very solicitous. Thanks for a great U-Haul rental day. Very pleased with vehicle and service.
It was a very easy online reservation process. Check-in was friendly and quick. The vehicle I rented was actually brand new. I will definitely rent from this location again. Nice people. Great vehicle.
Clerk was unable to log in to the haul database because she did not know her password. Ordered furniture pads which were not in the truck had to return later same day to pick them up.
We were scheduled to pick up our UHaul at a specific location. We followed the instructions and confirmed our pick up the prior day. The day of pick up, we arrived at the scheduled location and no truck! Then spent over 30 minutes on phone talking to UHaul customer service to make a pick up location change. In the end it all worked out and we got the truck we needed (but it did have a cracked windshield) but delayed start time by more than an hour.
Firstly I rented this at the main u haul on First St in Nanuet NY. at 9 AM on Thursday 6/21/18. I was advised via a voice mail later that day the pick up was changed to a furniture store (JuldeCore 300 RT 59 but at 10 AM ). The place didn't open until almost 10:15 & nothing was even ready. The woman was nice but clearly confused - couldn't find the 10 foot truck or the key but finally got it sorted out. I left there at 10:45 AM.one hour and forty five minutes after I actually needed the vehicle. This was a one way use to the Liberty NY area Approx 55 miles with a drop off in Liberty (one way). I have been trying to get an answer to why this was changed. There are several other sites closer to my address who must have had the truck in stock rather sending me to a site that didn't open at 9 AM/ Also the original order was changed from a one day - one way rental to a two day - two way rental requiring me to make numerous phone calls to get it adjusted. Today when I called in to obtain the actual cost I was charged I was cut off 3 times by 3 different operators - two of whom left me on indefinite hold! This has been extremely unsatisfactory experience and unless I receive a proper response of the charges I will be forced to deny them when billed to me. My reservation # was 88460006
Took forever to rent truck, even though I pre registered online. Guy was sleeping on a couch when I arrived. Seedy office.Only had 1 dozen blankets, while I reserved 2 dozen.
I ordered a uhaul to be picked up in nanuet and dropped off in white plains. When I got to the dealer he said I had to bring it back because he needed a certain amount of trucks in his lot. He went as far as saying that he had to right to refuse service and I wouldn't get any truck from him. He then noticed that I had ordered dollies and towels, neither of which he had available. I ended up having to borrow dollies and had to bring the truck all the way back to nanuet where I picked it up. The dealer was rude and when I called uhaul they were not helpful. I do not plan to use uhaul ever again.
