I reserved a truck online and specifically requested a dolly. Unfortunately the truck requested did not come with a dolly. I felt mislead. Other than that instore customer service was lovely.

Usually my go to when I need to Uhaul location when I need to move something. Guys are friendly, had to wait 20min before anyone helped me to check the truck out, there seemed to be only two people working. Checked no on vehicle maintenance because the “change oil soon” light was on.

When I arrived there was nobody in the store. As I waited 4 additional clients arrived over around 10 minutes ...maybe more.. I finally called the store on my cell. No answer twice. On the 3rd call one employee surfaced. I believe there was a hitch install in progress..... Shortly thereafter a second employee joined in. Computer systems were down so it was hand-written tickets.... I was renting a truck and a transport simultaneously. They were billed as separate transactions rather than as a combo, which I later learned made it a more costly fee. I would be curious to know what the cost differential is.... On the positive side, the guys were very professional, courteous and one was handling 2 transactions simultaneously on 2 hand-held devices....so he was very good at his job.

As reported at the time of return, and NOTHING was done about it, I had to put $12.00 worth of gas into the truck that I drove a total of 12 miles (that's over and above the Uhaul per mile charge). While the truck was reported full by the attendant that checked me out with the truck, it obviously, was not full. You should listen to customers and compensate them when an error was made on the part of someone at the location. I'll still find it hard to believe that the location did nothing to offset my cost/THEIR ERROR!

The guys working at this location were nice, so I want to start with that. You’re parking lot at this location is filled with product, so finding a spot to park your personal vehicle is very difficult. We were with a few other customers waiting in the office area for about 10 minutes before being greeted, because no one was in there - eventually another lady in line went out to find someone because she got tired of waiting. The guys seemed stressed and were openly talking about negative issues in front of the customers, the truck cab smelled like cigarettes, and the furniture pads that were provided to us were covered in some kind of animal hair. Overall the truck ran well, the guy who got our truck/supplies for us was very helpful, and the truck was in good running condition, but there were some things that definitely could have gone better.

Box 281922 Nashville, Tennessee 37228 October 23, 2018 Uhaul Customer Service Representative Uhaul Adress unlisted per website Dear Uhaul Customer Service Representative On September 23, 2018, I rented a Uhaul Moving Truck. I made this rental request, and pickup at Uhaul location 241 N 1st Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37213/Store Phone# 615.242.2636 ...Unfortunately, I had a series of events which slowed down my process of moving. One, the lock I purchased did not fit, causing me to hasve to purchase another lock at a Lowes store. Spending a total of $30.00 instead of $15.00 and when I asked the guy about it he said “you didn’t give me time to showe you the trick to making it work” what a trick. I called Uhaul to inform, and I was told that my issues would be noted, and that I would be refunded. Two, when me and my mother finally arrived back home, she slipped and fell out of the truck, she is okay had to have a few days bed rest but thank go do bruises or broken bones, just a sprained hand. Three, I called Uhaul to ask about extended use rates, and was told that I qualify for a weekly rentasl raste, which I did not receive. I have reasched out to Uhaul via Twitter message boards to no avail. Also I have had to contact customer service mutliple times, and a few times became in contact with rude, and unhelpful customer service agents (with the exception of an agent named Marvin who was very nice to me knowledgeable). Finally, I returned my rental truck and was charge double of what I was suppose to be charged. I spoke to the guy about it and he brushed off my concerns as his only concern was leaving at the close of business. The rental truck mileage was not high nor was the gas emplty. The rental was brought back clean and the same as it was when I drove off. I fell as if the service given was inadequate due to the the things I have listed above, and I fell cheated. This is not fair. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate to be refunded half of the total charges billed. Attached is a copy of my receipt. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem as soon as possible before seeking third-party assistance. Keep your present staff. I visited two different occasions. 1st to get supplies. And 2nd to rent a truck. And everybody was attentive and friendly. I wouldn’t change a thing.
