1st off 1 person working the counter early Saturday morning? I had a reservation & di online check in & still had a wait. 1 Person is not enough to service that place on a Saturday. The unit; in the age of COVID & all the "preventive things" U-Haul says they do, the truck in the cab was not clean & did not seem or smell anything like a sanitized unit in anyway. IIt was not a comfortable feeling. The front windshield was dirty & when I was faced with sun & headlights later in the the day THEY WERE A DISGRACE!! Could not see through the dirt & filth on the windshield. I have pictures to prove it. I still can not believe the filth of the cabin the COVID Age. The billing I got charged for gas when I filled to the point it was at when I picked it up. I have picture of gas needle at pickup & picture at drop off (same position, why was it not full? easier to figure out, No?) One more thing only open until 7:00PM? It is a Daily rental no? I was billed for another day which I think is unfair. A daily rental is 24 Hours. Closing at 7PM is an unfair time to close for returns. Truck bed had leftover debris. Interior cab had leftover dirty clothing and eyewear. Floors were dirty. The seats were smudged with dirty stains. The center console was dirty with food crumbs Inner windshields were smudged and not clear. Not major stuff but You asked. I had to clean it myself. I hate a dirty interior. I always carry my own cleaning supplies. I left the clothing in case last renter came looking for the items. Great, GREAT customer service though. To me THAT is so much more important. You don't find good CS very often anymore. The young ladies there are friendly, professional and efficient.
The lady at the counter needs training on how to treat clients with respect. Although every body has a bad day... I felt this was not the case. All the other personal was very good, polite, attentive, respectful and specially willing to help.

The customer counter person mislead me with the rate of the truck. Better train your employees with what a customer will get charged.
I was double charged for two rolling dolly's I only reserved and used one. I want this to be removed from my charges.
I will never send anyone to a uhaul company your online service sucks and so does the lack of communication from the company and employees i have never been so annoyed with a company as much as i have with this company
Pick good moving businesses. I paid On-Time movers to come to my location to move my stuff. However, when 9:30am came no one showed up. I called Marguita at 201-737-8055 about 20 times to find out information about the two I hired and I was sent straight to voicemail. I called U-Haul and they pretty much told me that â€œthat wasn't their problemâ€. So, now I'm building a case with a lawyer and suing â€œOn-time Moversâ€ because they don't want to refund my money. On-time movers is a scamming business they make appointments and charge your card and when the day comes. They stand you up.
The staff and general manager are wonderful, I left the store with a storage and the location is spotless

Tried to send me all over place to get trailer they didn't have one I wanted then , line in place was crazy, stop hiring unqualified people.
The associate that helped us was overwhelmed with people waiting there were 7 people in line she was trying to satisfy the customer in front of her helping other customers while that customer waited and the lines were too long and I waited over an hour to get the keys to my truck You haul is making Money with their profit They should invest in another associate to help out one associate on a Sunday morning is not enough
It was nice to see them cleaning the returns. The staff member kept pointing at dings on the truck and asking about them--they were existing and marked and clearly dirty/old, I didn't understand why he was pointing them out to us as we clearly were not responsibly for any of the damage.
I was lied to that there was no more trucks. I was sent all the way to Linden for another van that they didn't have. They made reservations for a damaged truck to be picked up at 11 pm that night. I was sent to Linden for no reason at all. A manager called them and asked why they did it when they never had any trucks to begin with. Then the manager was told that we can come back to their location they had a truck available. This set my day back an hour and a half. I really did not appreciate the customer service there. I was also chargered 55 dollars for 20 miles and 4 hrs. It took me only and hour and a half and I used at least half of the 20 miles and I do not see the difference on my charge. I was told money will be given back on my arrival back if the miles was less than 20. Overall I was not satisfied!
This place doesn't look safe There is no lighting to drop off the equipment
I reserved the van for 24 hours and when I get to the place, lady told me I could have just for 6 hours even I was reserved for 24. I tried to claim but she said could not do anything for me an was very rude.
Parking lot is being used for burnouts by the biker gang at the bar next door. Area is sketchy.
