Didn’t provide me with A contract but told me to take a picture of the computer screen if I wanted to because I would be given a contract when I dropped the vehicle off never walked around the vehicle with me handed me the key and said you know how to find it it had someone else’s paperwork inside of it and obviously hadn’t been cleaned tried to rent a U-Haul dolly she said she only had one and that I was dropping off to a different location and implied that she didn’t want to let me have it then asked me why I was dropping off to another location and why not dropping back off to her Seemed that she was having difficulty with the computer it took forever to get the rental which in turn made me late to pick up the stove I had purchased she asked me to pay cash I had it reserved with a debit it was just terrible

I made a reservation for a van at the location and it was not available for pick up. So, I was told to cancel and make a reservation for a 10 inch truck. And I contacted customer service and online chat and both were very non-responsive. I would like to get a refund on the extra money I paid on the miles (truck - 69 cents, truck - 99 cents).

Truck was low mileage, but the back was full of pine needles. Also, there was a lot of confusion about my reservation, which apparently had been moved to a different location -- but I never got the email about that. (As an aside, the alternate location on Salem St. is one that I will never use again -- the owner there has a particularly bad attitude toward customer relations.) The clerk at Pace Energy was unable to find my reservation, and I had to wait many minutes on hold before I was able to talk to someone on the customer support number. There's no reason he shouldn't have been able to look up my reservation on his computer and find the updated status.

The person working there ripped me off. He gave me a truck that had a gas tank that wasn't full, but then when I returned it he told me the guage wasn't pointed to F and would have to be filled up. I immediately got suspicious about this, how would a trip of 14 miles with no idling of the engine move the needle very far. So I proceeded to put close to 3 gallons in before I stopped the pump. He basically was trying to get me to pay up for the previous customer who didn't fill it. And if I didn't fill it I would get a $9 additional fee. So I got the needle to point to F but he was nickel and dimed beyond belief. Sure he got a few extra bucks out of me - and who knows if he still charges me more on my card for some other fee - but he lost a customer forever and gave me a bad taste regarding U-Haul.

I returned this card at 1:15pm on Sunday 9/9. I received four follow up calls telling me I had not returned the truck. At first, I was unable to find the reuturn location in any of my contracts so I called Uhaul and they said we could return a one way truck anywhere, which seemed strange but I knew I was due to return to Billerica anyways so we dropped off. The man there asked me to do a return on my phone, which I explained I did not have the app and had done the pickup in person. He then told me I was fine and to just leave him the keys. A few hours later I received a call and a voicemail, which I returned and told them the address and the time of the return and that the man working didn't take my name but just told me to leave the truck. She explained I was all set and that the person handling the drop off was likely unavailable and once he returned to the location my they'd process my return and not to worry. The following day (a day after I was due to return) I received a text with a different drop off location address, two more calls (with no voicemails) from UHaul, and another text detailing my un-returned truck and the fees. Calling back once more, I was able to speak with another women who said no one I had spoken with earlier had added any notes of these interactions and that is why they were unaware of the returned truck.

I received no paperwork from the person, he said my contract would be emailed to me. It didn’t show up until after I dropped the truck off and because of this there was a dispute on how much gas there was and I was erroneously charged to add gas to the tank when I shouldn’t have been.

They charged me $10 for coverage that I never asked for. I declined coverage when I completed express check in. They have not responded to email request to refund $10 to my account.
Service was ok agent asked me to check and take a picture of odometer and gas gauge.

Our reservation was for 11am and the guys just began pulling the Uhaul trucks out of the snow at the last minute. They refused to clear any if the snow covering the top and front of trucks. We lost 45 minutes between check-in (not sure why that took so long) and then cleaning off the truck that was not ready for us. Not fair. Would like a refund.

Had completed on line check in. Gave reservation number to clerk. She found it. Then went through the entire rental contract again. Including my credit and driver id information. Finally left with rental but no printed agreement, I declined moving help while processing original rental. Why did I get a reminder email everyday until a picked it up. Once is enough.

Truck was running extremely rough. Back had leaves and dirt in it from previous user, and the hood was not closed properly and started to pop up as I was driving down the highway. Tried to call and change my reservation Friday night to pick up the truck early (and pay more...) and they told me constantly that my reservation was for Saturday, even though they said they had the truck.
